The very first time I went and watched 'Star Wars' back in 1977, toward the end when Luke Skywalker targeted the Death Star weak spot, I always felt a faith that, no matter what the odds, the good side of that Force will be with you always, if you be with it. Remember, Han Solo always yelled, "Never tell me the odds!!!" (To C3PO who was always trying to tell him the odds. I have a good idea what the odds are of one good guy against The Imperial PTB, but read the stories about General George Washington. I'm serious, really strange anomalous miraculous stuff kept happening to him. The Force was strong in that one.

A 30 year career GOP staffer stumping for the Dems.....ya, Ok then.....perhaps they're Dem talking points for a reason?

I don't know why anyone would switch from Republican to Democrat now unless they were Socialist to begin with.

LOL! Yes, this man was a 30 year, singular, sleeper cell within the GOP staff on Capital Hill

Just because he sounds like democrats, that makes him wrong?
Someone's drinking the republican Kool-aid.

I'm not saying the democrats don't have their own Kool-aid. But the republicans kool-aid is worse in the sense that the people drinking it are much more brainwashed. Most republican politicians ARE hypocrites and lunatics.

The guy is right. And if you don't see that, you're probably part of the cult.

Let me guess his response

Blaine is "Independent"

I will confess that I have long been convinced, that there is truly, a no more relentlessly, tirelessly, and literally demonic institution on this planet, than the Grand Old Party. The Republicans are not merely the bane of America; they are the scourge of the entire human race.

The organisation needs to be completely and unconditionally destroyed.

I demand stars from everyone reading this, as I was going to start a thread on this article but didn't because I used the search function.

So there.

As for the article, from the title I knew where it was coming from but nonetheless, it still strikes home. I get bombarded at times with GOP radio and those guys are simply evil. I hate both parties, as they really both suck, simply put, but the things I hear are so vile it saddens me.

I really hope there's a special level of hell for both of them but maybe the GOP level could be a little hotter, maybe?
