Qadhafi was lobbying to replace dollar by African gold dinar for oil trade

Some believe it is about protecting civilians, others say it is about oil, but some are convinced intervention in Libya is all about Gaddafi's plan to introduce the gold dinar, a single African currency made from gold, a true sharing of the wealth.

"It's one of these things that you have to plan almost in secret, because as soon as you say you're going to change over from the dollar to something else, you're going to be targeted," says Ministry of Peace founder Dr James Thring. "There were two conferences on this, in 1986 and 2000, organized by Gaddafi. Everybody was interested, most countries in Africa were keen."

The same scenario happened when Saddam Hussein changed its oil trading to Euro, away from US dollar. Same old dirty agenda!

■ Few months before NATO (& US) led military intervention on Libya, Gaddafi called upon African nations to switch oil trading to African Gold Dinar.
■ Sarkozy responded to it as "a threat to the financial security of mankind".

We are disgusted by the media deceit, hypocrisy and military violence orchestrated by US and Europe - including CIA, Mossad and other alphabet agencies. This is causing a bad name for Christianity!

Yes this would have been a disaster for US, which mostly generate its dollars from trading it with other countries now that they moved most production to other countries. No wonder they had to do something.

These sad dictators are always ranting about one thing or another. They live in a reality that is of their own making and are surrounded by sycophants who agree with everything they say - and why not, if you disagree you tend to end up dead!

Gaddafi was not liked by African nations and got up to all sorts of mischief, not least in Chad and general support for terrorist groups. Similarly, Saddam was not liked in the Middle East and apart from the conflicts he started in Iran and Kuwait, repression and attempted genocide (Kurds and Marsh Arabs), he was also routinely brutal, just like Gaddafi. Both liked the sound of their own voice.

With the dictator’s demise we will lose their silly speeches and wacky ideas, but that’s a good trade off IMHO.

Regards

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, especially when it seems like you've put effort into this thread, but this has been covered before, please use search before investing time into a thread.

All the best,

Jamie.

YES, Qadhafi was "attempting" to do this.

BUT, he was taking orders from TPTB that in fact installed him in the first place.

THE reason was to get full control of all the gold that was going to be used, and all the gold that exists in the African states.

AND, that's exactly what's happening. They are consolidating the central banks in the African Union.

PLUS, they get to pay the corporations to rebuild the destroyed infrastructures.

THAT money goes away and into the European and U.S. money havens....it does not stay in the original resource producing "nations"......surprise surprise ..... somebody else keeps the money !

Look at Libya's assets in foreign holdings.
