she reminds me of teddy roosevelt and mark twain,

with a little iron lady thrown in for the scare factor.

as for IQ? what brains do you need? common sense and choosing a good staff is what we need.

the thing is, she knows when someone is trying to pull the wool over her eyes and that's good enough for me.

i doubt she will be on the golf course every other week either.

ya, i wish she jumped in already. what can they do to her that they haven't already done? lol!

She many sound line a "teaser" to you but she her background and political pushers are well known.

She stinks like oil, thanks to BP, Conoco Phillips and Exon Mobile.

She is a sucker for big oil companies just like Bush was. She is just another corrupted politicians promising lies.

naw, they hate her coz she kicked their a$$ in alaska. she would make them drill or loose their leases.

she would be out front if they were behind her. she want's energy independence for the country which would really rattle some cages.

Yes, I tried to post about that on different thread and got booed down by leftists. They keep calling her a big oil shill. Too bad. Then they claim she is socialist because of her profit sharing plan. Wish theyd make up their minds.

If you really want to learn the difference between Sarah Palin and our current _residemnt, Barack Obama...watch the end of Gov. Palin's Tea Party speech in Iowa. Not only did she lay out "Her Plan" for turning our economy around, but when she left the podium, CSpan left (accidently?) the cameras on. She connects with the average American like no other.

There is a "TPTB" DC elite that gave us, as Plain notes 'the permanent political class' Obama; MCCain; Bush, Bush; Clinton, Clinton. And then there is the Tea Party...that gives us "rogues" Like the undeclared, Palin...Paul, Bachmann, Cain. The lines are clearly drawn...and I hope Palin joins the fray. We need more rogues and less elites.

Sorry to tell you this but with over 80% of Alaska economy supported by big oil interest, Palin was nothing but a figure head to the oil companies in Alaska.

Even her husband's job was provided by BP.

She is as dirty as the oil companies themselves, you do not bite the hand that feeds your economy you lick it.

I am not supporter of any political candidate, my job is to expose the corruption that runs in our nation due to our corporate run government.

Our political system is dirty and corrupted and so all the political candidates that receive money from private and corporate interest.

Sorry but the truth is that Palin is dirty with oil.

Prove it. Let's have the proof. Her hubby having a job at an oil co is not sufficient. Otherwise we would all be corrupt.

My dear is not honest politician in this nation and has not been for quite some times, they all cater to big interest, no matter how much they sell their propaganda of been for the people.

That is the sad story of our nation this days, if she ever gets into the white house that I doubt she will. she will do just like any other one been there before, screw the people and cater to those that pay the big money. Washington belong to the Goldman Sachs and JP Morgans. Big oil interest is the number one funder of political candidates followed by big pharma and insurance companies, every single politician in this nation running for government receive money from them.

That is a fact, no prof is necessary.

I think bringing Sarah Palin into the elections will make it far more entertaining. I too hope that she stops teasing the rest of us.

I don't know what kind of POTUS she would be.

I do, it's pretty simple actual. Just take a look at how things are now (although with this taking place in 2012, it'll likely be worst). Then instead of Obama talking about nonsense, replace him with Palin. Or Perry. Or Romney. Or well, anyone that isn't Ron Paul.

The only difference between the Bush admin and the Obama admin is the face became a little younger, the skin blacker, and they don't hate gays as much. With a Palin administration the face just becomes MILFier, white again, and hating gays more. Romney would give us a face that has secret underwear and cool hair, Perry is Bush the Third: Anniversary Edition.

Anyways, new faces are cool, but I'd like a competent president instead. Something new for a change.

Another take, another source. . . . .

Today in Iowa, home of that all-important Caucus (hint-hint?), Governor Palin spoke as clearly as she ever has on a subject near and dear to my heart and one I’ve been waiting to hear from a serious GOP contender. Palin calls it, quite appropriately, “crony capitalism,” where the moneyed and powerful receive preferential treatment from our political class in exchange for the financial support that puts and keeps the political class in charge of the rest of us.

This is the vicious circle currently tanking our economy and Palin’s own words sum it up best:

“Corporate welfare is just socialism for the very wealthy.”

Indeed.

And while Governor Palin rightfully trained most of her rhetorical fire on President Obama (the most corporatist president of my lifetime), she also took on Republican members of that “permanent political class” who selfishly dole out our hard-earned money to those who keep them in power.

This is nothing more than a racket and it’s a disgusting one at that that explains why deficits and wasteful spending occurs regardless of which party is in charge — it is, as the Governor made clear, the disease that’s killing our free market economy. But she has a cure that will both cut these insidious ties and create jobs: end loopholes, end corporate welfare, end bailouts (amen) AND end the corporate income tax. In other words: Corporate America — we’ll get out of your way but you are now on your own.

When you see Obama cozying up to General Electric and in turn see GE embracing Obama and his stupid “green solutions,” what you’re witnessing is a scheme designed to snuff competition. GE isn’t stupid, they know “green energy” is nonsense, but they also know they’re “too big to fail” and that they can afford to pay for burdensome taxes (if they pay taxes at all) and environmental regulations. But do you want to know who can’t? Up and coming companies, upstarts who might someday put GE out of business. If you know the government’s going to bail you out and snuff your competition, where’s the downside in “going green”?

There were a number of other specifics in today’s speech, including the repeal of ObamaCare, cancelling all that unused money from Obama’s epically failed stimulus, open the floodgates to our domestic energy resources, fix our deficit on our own terms before some foreign country forces us to on theirs, and make America the most attractive country in the world to do business in with the aforementioned tax reform and the reining in of regulations.

But what we really heard was a thematic speech that laid out a governing philosophy, a bold approach to issues and problems in a way that focuses as strongly on our corrupted political culture as it does on the problems themselves — a root cause approach that helps to explain why the GOP establishment currently sitting comfortably in their own feathered nests are so afraid of this woman.

. . . . . As far as an announcement, we’re months away from the Iowa Caucus and 400-plus days away from the election. I like the patience I’m seeing from the Governor and she doesn’t need me to tell her that if you look close enough you’ll see that most of those carping about her waiting to make a decision are doing so from a feathered nest.

Full Story

Interesting take on it.

Appreciate the replies.

The previous administration was at fault, but Bush is not on the ticket, Obama is.
And it is so nice to hear from the ATS marxist on this issue. Please share with us more of you insight, and non-judgemental elucidations.

And you are claiming that liberal policies of the last three years created this economic circumstance.
You are twisting the truth to fit your agenda of corpora-fascism, I am simply here to hold a line of
resistance. I know you would like to steam roll in here and spread your propaganda unprotested,
however I am not going to let you do so without a challenge. I am actually a centrist, I believe in
hard work, reward for hard work, while I also believe that corporations are the primary force distorting
governmental policy around the world. I believe in putting America people first, not disembodied legal
entities like you and your theocratic fascist brigade. If you would like me to share more, just ask

The economic mess we're in is a result of decades of financial idiocy, comrade. Bu decades of presidents aren't on the ticket next year, just Obama.

If you can break away from your love-fest with Soros long enough to notice, we wouldn't have to repeat it so often.

could be coz she made them drill and make jobs and made sure they weren't still sitting on the oil or they'd loose it.

you think alaska can live on king crabs?

giving billions to brazil for oil and shutting down our own rigs will not fly with her.

That's not the claim you made, but I see you can also imitate the fortitude of peanut butter too.

Since I cannot type in German, in America, usually we base our discussions upon truthful foundations
and embellish as we go along. I see the German way is to lie first and then back track towards the truth
when the lie is highlighted.

Deflect, change narratve, insult. . . yawn
Obama is POTUS, not anyone else. It is HIS problem now. If you can't see past your little red book the that's your fault.
