I chose this forum for this post becasue I think this was always part of the plan. Feel free to move it Mods if it is in the worng place.

I was looking into the cables released by wikileaks. Found this one:

cables.mrkva.eu...

Dated 2007 contains the following snippet:

12 Turkish Firms on CPI's UFO List for Iraq
Yeni Safak's front page story reports on the recent report by the US
Center for Public Integrity (CPI) on contracting in Iraq and
Afghanistan. According to the paper, in the last three years, the
majority of contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan were awarded to only
100 companies, with "US VP Cheney's Halliburton" taking the lead
with $16 billion. Security firms such as DynCorp and Blackwater -

So by 2007 they had already awarded $16 Billion in contracts to Halliburton. Who owns Halliburton?

Sick. Really is sick.

ETA - Thhe UFO reference is Unidentified Foreign Organisation - other companies from other countries who'm have also received contracts.

This is what becomes of rulers who know they have the most powerful technology
on Earth and the Universe. There is no doubt about it.
Even Hitler did not have this much power as most everything was in development.
Running roughshod over the Earth in nothing new for these people.
Teddy Roosevelt has his taste in the Spanish America War. Bully for him.
Now we have Cheney and Halliburton with coat of arms like Ivanhoe.
We must learn to live with the lesser nations of the world perhaps.
Things do change as we see North and South Korea as examples.
The North still stuck in militarism and atomic weapons development forced
on them by Japan and the South taking over production of American consumer
items. Wow this is so one global state Illuminantism on both ends of that stick.
Well some favored state will be picking up Afghanistan and the rest we conquered
all thanks to Al Queda. China perhaps set for the mineral rights and some other
country for the crops.

Blame the Geneva Convention. One of the internationally recongnized stipulations is that if you invade a country, you are required to rebuild it's infrastructure.

However, with hundreds of construction firms hired to do the work that instead just pocket the cash and build nothing, it will take a while.

Yeah, your right about that. I think in the cable they said that they had used only 100 diferent companies. Unidentified Forein Organisations (I think this is everyone else other than other US companies) Got about US$20 billion between them. Halliburton got arround US$16 billion. Thats a big slice of the pie. And then they will justify it by pointing out the faillings of other companies that they knew when they gave them the contract they would just dash with the cash. Nice plan.
