Tea

Heehee.
One of my favorite sites, (see link) came up with this story.

It stemmed from this speech given a few years ago.

In the video, he sounds just like one of those (bwahahahahaha) racist Tea Party folks. (Just don't let the CBC see this thread
)

Enjoy

Sorry

You're right though.

Funny. When HE says it, he's being patriotic, when someone else says it, they're hateful racists.

He's said many things in the past that he is cursing the internet for now. Poor guy. He should just go ahead and abdicate to keep the embarrassment level to a minimum.

This would make a great campaign commrcial for anyone else.

Obama: (shakes fist) Curse you Youtube!
Michelle: Shut up and go back to bed, honey. You can blame it on Bush in the morning.

Nice Find! Obama sounded like a tea party member before he even knew it.

This is a helpful reminder we need to pay attention to what politicians do and vote for rather than just what they say. However, Obama can give such great speeches, you think he should win a peace prize before he launches an attack somewhere. Quite clever of him. Makes you wonder if he has had some secret agenda all along creating a new communist united states where the government takes care of everyone but you also have to turn in your paycheck as well.

Thanks.

You are obsessed with socialists.
You guys realize this isn't really close to real socialism and if you saw it you would know it. Basically anything you don't agree with is socialism. I mean you called me a socialist in my other thread and you know nothing of my stances.

Might I chime in?
Having the oppourtunity to live abroad, I was able to enjoy seeing different governments in comparrison to America.

Socialism, as it is being used, would include the government having an influence/control over aspects of our lives that we (as Americans) are not accustomed to.
Healthcare.
Silly things like government edicts over the use of salt.
Auto industry.
Banking industry.
Real Estate.
The licensing/fees involved with the most mundane facets of our daily lives.

It'd be okay, I suppose, if one trusted the government.

I, for one, don't.

I wouldn't be opposed to a healthcare system like the UK. That doesn't make me a socialist it makes me a humanist.

What about the police, firefighters, and public library? Do you socialists use those? Or can you admit that their is a middle ground.
edit on 3-9-2011 by GogoVicMorrow because: (no reason given)

The UK doesn't want the healthcare system in the UK.

Police, fire, library? Strawman argument. It's also local, not federal. So tha's an apple/orange argument.

That video certainly points out the hypocrisy of flip-flopping Obama.

Here is another vid I first caught on IOTW.
Another tough pill for the Tea Party haters to swallow.

Hmm.. everything I have seen shows that the UK enjoy their healthcare. I would like some UK members to chime in here. They have good healthcare and the doctors are very well paid.

It isn't apples and oranges. The systems work and it's paid for by the tax payers.
