I've got one I want to try:

Zeppelin's 'Communication Breakdown' / Queen's 'Flash's Theme' / Abba's 'Mamma Mia'

I can hear it perfectly in my head... only thing is I am reluctant to buy an Abba CD

These were two of my most favorite bands of my life!
I could only stomach listening to 30 seconds of that video.
1.Led Zeppelin
2.Black Sabbath
3.Metallica

C'mon!

That was epic!

My OP point was that I absolutely abhor remixes and mash-ups but this one was pulled off without an insult to either band and actually respected the genre.

IMO.

Less words usually mean no intelligent contribution or an idiot.

I will take the former in this case.

Orgasmic. Thank you.

Here's Dread Zeppelin. Now we need someone to mix the real thing together.

Seen them, and their dedication to the purity of the original is inspiring...almost.

Thanks!

while that mash up does actually "work" I still have to say(and I already know how much flack I'll get) that Led Zeppelin is one of the worlds worst bands and probably the most overrated rock band in the history of music......

jimmy pages riffs are a joke, and dont even try and bring up stairway to heaven....it's really pretty lame.
robert plant has the most annoying rock voice outside of the 80's.

flame on!!

Going to talk to my band about covering this. We already do whole lotta love and we haven't done war pigs (mainly because it's kind of boring). This would be interesting though.

This takes War Pigs to an entirely new level.

Post your finished piece when you get done. Love to hear it.

A great mash-Led Zepp are among my all time early heavy rock favorites, and so is the Sabbath.

I will be ripping this to MP3 for use in the car etc.

Good job jude11.

You may also like this mash-It ain't hard rock, but its still two rocking songs from back in the day stuck together:

Good ol' Jim and Debbie.

Just over here to the left...

And glad you liked it. Some amazing mash-ups on that site. Usually not my thing at all but after the ZOZZY piece, I'll listen to more.
