Even though I don't live in America I'd say yes. Americans (as in the ones that founded this country and fought of the british) are white. Anyone other race is just americanised. Even if they were born in America.

What about the Chinese who built the railways and worked in construction. Or the Black people who helped define American culture with blues and Jazz and worked the plantations that helped the economy. Or the Italians who gave America their fantastic food, not to mention a few good boxers and "ol blue eyes" himself.

Oh, and African Americans and native American Indians thought against the British too.

America is made up of many different people, some white European some not... Polish, Irish, English, African, Asian, Chinese etc...

And that’s not even mentioning the Native American Indians who are the actual true Americans.

regrettable I can't find a copy of the declaration of independence, but after it says all men are created equal, it follows up with only white men. seriously lol find a copy of it and it's right there. I'm surprised I can't google it!

Because Russia today is a propaganda arm of Putin's gov't just like Pravda used to be. Pretty much all the info in there is designed to stir up trouble or push there cause allong further. Likely the stats don't show whites as a minority overall just in certain urban areas (like using harlem as a basis for all the US), so they are trying to increase racial tension.

Well let me just say generally I never agreed to racial or other discrimination.
But I know it when I see it.
And currently it's no longer a matter of academic equality.
The liberal extremists have just thrown racial ideology upside down.
That is: they want active discrimination and "revenge" for all colonialism.
So, in SA we still have the apartheid race classifications (and only a few have challenged them till now), but now they go in reverse.
I'm sorry, but apartheid in reverse is still apartheid!
We were promised a non-sexist/non-racist SA in 1994!

Anyway, I hear there's a good new book out about post-apartheid lessons for America: "Into the Cannibal's Pot" by former liberal Ilana Mercer.

It appears that one of her points is that when good people are made criminals for blatantly defending themselves, then a country is leaning towards a Marxist dictatorship.

I don't mind that much.

And this is slightly off topic, but I think people should just get over the fact that there are different races on Earth and that is that. There's no minorities or superiors. I'm never offended or take things too personally when it comes to "racism" and I don't think anyone else should either. People are black. People are white. People are Asian. Get over it

When people fully understand that this, the combination of all races, all religions and all beliefs and ideas is what makes us great, they wont be bothered by these articles anymore. They'll see right through them.

My folks live in SA, they never left. Yes my Dad had to train some "affirmative action" people for senior positions. As he did that without grumbling or feeling poor me, how unfair this is, they promoted him for his great attitude and experience.
Living under Apartheid was a nightmare for anyone with a conscious and pretty deadly for those not classified as “white” (yes you could be reclassified to NON WHITE if you upset the right people, which could also strip you of your citizenship). Yes the country has a lot of troubles, and a few scary political figures, but that will never make the previous fascist Apartheid regime any thing other than abhorrent. The violence there is pretty bad, but guess what it was always pretty bad, just not in the “white” areas as most of the policing was focused on ensuring the safety of the white population, some of whom were hideously bigoted and cruel. It is a total miracle the place did not turn into a bloodbath, whites could/did treat non whites with utter distain, disrespect and worse, then generally were not held accountable, Kudos to the Rainbow nation and may they find their way to peace and prosperity.

So where do you see the prosperous people of all races in the US, with small responsible families fitting into the larger global picture of failed states and irresponsible procreative traditions that can only be relived by allowing them and their traditions access to Western countries like the US by any means necessary?

Wouldn't you say that's not just accommodating immigrants but asking for a never ending flood?
When the US got their "melting pot", how many were from a vastly dissimilar culture?

All racist to me... In my experience anyone who is pro any race is normally a complete idiot. And if your government accepts one group of pro whatever’s, but not the other, is that the fault of one particular race? or a fault of the government? I prefer to blame the government due to the fact that there are idiots in all races but it’s up to the government to recognise the idiots and not pander to them.

BTW Every creature on the planet is racist. Racism is prefering your race over another, if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend hubby whatever of the same race you could be called racist.

When I first started dating my wife (I am white my wife is black) we were harassed racially, in the office, by a small group of black women. My wife eventually told our boss and action was taken against these bigots. Our boss, who was white, said he would not tolerate racism in the work place. Legislation in England makes it quite clear that racism is not isolated to one race or colour. Look up the definition in the dictionary and you will not find it to be “White man being mean to black man”

As I explained before, I am white, my wife is black, some of my friends are in same race relationships, and some are mixed race. We all picked our partners simply because we fell in love. No sinister race plot involved in it. In the past I’ve had White girlfriends, Asian girlfriends, black girlfriends... in fact the only women I’ve never dated is Oriental (not for the want of trying just wasn’t lucky enough)

Also, by this statement alone you have confessed to your own racism... cool... just admit it... get it out there!!

Equality doesnt exist in nature, nor in the human world. Such an idea is impossible. Even between two blacks, two whites, or two women or whatever, one will always be better than the other. That's the way it is.

Frankly I agree with the majority of these posts. Where does my 7 immigrant tax break come in? Job promotions, healthcare and welfare kick in? Being an american doesnt get you much these days when your rights and privileges are given to people who enter your country illegally. My significant other happens to be an immigrant, and they don't get benefits or tax breaks or anything like that. They happen to be white, and russian. They found this article for me. They are concerned about russian news, but apparently, russians are just as concerned about us!

For years, some white people have moaned about black people playing the race card... and of course there are SOME black people who do this; I’ve witnessed it myself on a couple of occasion. One example was a black guy at work who, whenever something didn’t go his way, would cry "It’s because I’m black and the white man is holding me back" yadda yadda blah blah...


However, isn’t that now what some white people are now doing... Didn’t get a job "Its because of all the Immigrants" Didn’t get a promotion "it’s because of Affirmative action"

Isnt that what you are doing??

Every race is pure. It's when they mix that they become un-pure. In other words, hybrids.

The word missing from your comment just for clarification is 'after'. ie 'early humans mated with neanderthals after we moved out of africa'.

Just because you like one race above all others because of let's say physical appearance doesn't make you racist. What makes you racist is hating other races. In other words seeing them as OVERALL inferior.

Well, I cannot discount your experiences.
Most of the crime is still outside the white areas, and seemingly it has little to do with selective policing now.
I don't think anyone could be reclassified simply for upsetting somebody in power, and this never happened to my knowledge (people were reclassified for a number of personal reasons however).
Apartheid was wrong, and even most whites voted for change in 1992.

But what is happening now is also wrong.
