"Midnight in Paris"...........a review

This latest Woody Allen movie is simply endearing, thought provoking, extremely entertaining and funny.
However if you haven't taken at least a few college courses in American Lit and Art appreciation it won't mean much to you. Great cast with Owen Wilson playing his usual character but it fit perfectly in this film.
I like Allen's style of direction allowing the scenes to breath and the flow of editing kept this film moving effortlessly.
Still the main star of the film was "Paris"

Yup it is the one with Rachel McAdams and Owen Wilson. I have "The Notebook" on the mind lol

... Is the most pretentious sentence ever. Seriously if Owen Wilson is in the cast it can't be that much of a heavyweight film. What does someone quote Kafka while holding a Chuck Close painting?

Ima take a rough stab here and guess that Allen is pandering to a crowd of jaded middle-class housewives who are pissed they married early and didn't put their degrees to use.

- References to some "obscure" artist that Allen knows uni chicks dig. Check

- Paris. Check
- Overblown sense of superiority. Check

Saw this today and loved it.... beautiful and witty and charming.
