LS.. just going by what the sight indicated.. We had the same event take place in Michigan when the the EQ took place in VA.. never felt it. but other did?????
Who Knows when the earth shakes..

Strange I live in anchorage and didn't feel any thing remotely earthquakeish. Only strangeness to day is a few times it sounded like artillery or someone banging a dumpster down right next to the house.

Not to be nikpicky, but Atka Island has a population of 95.

Regardless this is one of the most prone earthquake areas on the planet. Hundreds per year in the 3.0 or greater magnitude in the Aluetian chain. The Largest one in the area was an 8.7 back in 1965.
