Why does every thread like this attract the flag waving, chest thumping, "my dads bigger than your dads" brigade?

I particularly loved the post about Chine having 100s of nukes while the US has thousands, as if this meant the US would come out with a win.

As for the topic, China will collapse the US from the inside, they wont need to fire a shot. They are using economic warfare and its working.

Don't know where your intel is coming from, but majority of it is all wrong.

China would literally blow USA right off the map... few hundred warheads pffffffft 1 air craft carrier?

They have waaaaaaaaaaay more then that mate, and what they cant make up for in warheads , they make up in ground troops.

so fap harder if you think that USA is the ultimate power, because they are most certainly not!

They both have enough fire power to wipe each other off the map. There will not be a nuclear exchange as both sides will lose.

If this was truly going to happen, it would be done in a much cleverer way. Id assume theyd try to poison the water supply or use chem/bio weapons and the US would have no way to react as they wouldnt know who did it.

in a non nuclear conventional ground war the usa would not win as the above link shows when comparing man power strengths that are available...china has like a 6 to 1 advantage in soldiers

Currently as of May, the Chinese own 36% of our national debt. Japan owns the next biggest chunk.

They don't need to take the risk to fight us via force when they can easily own us financially.
Why would you risk nuclear conflict that could destroy the entire planet? Would you not wait it out knowing that you could eventually own them financially without loss of life and materials?
Besides China is in the middle of it's golden age, they will take the money, site back and watch us drown.

When will Americans get it through their heads that if the Chinese want a war with America, it won't be a military war, it will be an economic one.

China has the capability to collapse the US economy in less than 24 hours if they so desired. China would squash the USA like a bug and without a shot or a missile ever being fired.

Step 1) Massive cyber attack against communications, industrial systems, financial systems, military systems, and internet infrastructure. There have been stories recently that Chinese Government sponsored hackers have already been accessing US networks in all these areas.

Step 2) While communications and other infrastructure within the USA is in absolute disarray, start selling US Government bonds and US dollars on the open market in other financial centers outside the USA like Hong Kong, London, France, Germany, etc. The Americans will be in such disarray dealing with communications collapse it may take them some time to figure out what's going on.

Step 3) By the time the US get their communications and industrial systems back online, they will find out the extent of the collapse. Entire country will be in panic. As systems start to come back online, the Chinese will take them out again with another massive cyber attack. The USA will collapse in less than 24 hours (and I'm being very generous here) without any military action whatsoever.

This would make no sense, it would be like the parasite killing it's host.

China doesn't have the powerful military to launch an assault on the USA. We still have most modern military technology than China.
