By all means then, let's authorize another 300 billion to simply get thrown away. Just as you can't simply create jobs by throwing gobs of money at
it, there is no way to create a product by throwing money at it that people can't afford to purchase.
Is clean energy a good idea? Sure. But so are cars that run on auto pilot. The problem with both of course is there is no market for either one
because there is no money!
Obama's original plan was to make traditional fuel so expensive via taxes that it will make clean energy appear to be inexpensive by contrast.
Let's hope he doesn't revert back to this philosophy in hopes of distracting people from the fact that yet another half a billion dollars
just vanished.
Between this money and the prior stimulus money that was wasted, we could have funded at least a portion of social security and unemployment benefits.
