you lot definitely have it down..but i'd like to add that during WWII canada was the world's largest training ground for allied pilots and today contributes substantially to NORAD, the worlds largest and arguable most capable air defense command in the world. the last time i visited canada, a friend took me up to trenton airforce base where us and canadian aerobatics teams were practicing...quite the spectacle!! they were also a majot contributor to the gulf war

but the problem is that Canada only has maybe not even 20 fly-able fighters in the whole air force...

Sweden should be in there somewhere in between 3-6 they have some of the worlds most potent fighters. I know what you're thinking but fighters such as the Saab Gripen are at the cutting edge of fighter design. I know I have studied aircraft for years and I was very surprised to learn that Sweden is a player on the world stage of fighter design.

2) UK
3) Russia
4) France
5) China
6) Isreal
7) Australia
8)Sweden
9)Italy
10)Pakistan
I thaink pakistan Air Force(PAF) is on Number 10.It is a highly Professional Air force. The Quality of Pakistan Air Foce pilots and Training is Superb.

1. India (since they beat USAF in 2004 war game and have excellent LCA and Sukhios and extremely high quantity)

2. USA (since they got beaten by IAF in 2004 war game and awsome F22 raptor etc.)

3.Russia (Cuz of their quantity)

4. Israel (excelent experienced pilots and average size)

5. Japan (Awesome planes, bad quantity, well trained)

6. China (pretty good J-F's, well trained and excellent quantity)

7. France (excellent mirage planes.. lacks in quantity)

8. Germany (extremely close to France due to lack of experience)

9. Canada (Average size and extremly well trained pilots)

10. England or UK (low quantity, average trained, and not so well engineered planes)

I must disagree. The UK airforce has been in constant service for two decades and their aircraft do the job required and do it well. The Israeli airforce's experience is over-rated IMHO. India as number one? Russia as number three - they may have quantity but how many can actually fly?
