im sorry, but i have to object with the usaf being the best,i think the RAF is the best airforce, the us have no typhoons, #LOADS of friendly fire
(the RAF has none) and generally are too full of themselves

you lot definitely have it down..but i'd like to add that during WWII canada was the world's largest training ground for allied pilots and today contributes substantially to NORAD, the worlds largest and arguable most capable air defense command in the world. the last time i visited canada, a friend took me up to trenton airforce base where us and canadian aerobatics teams were practicing...quite the spectacle!! they were also a majot contributor to the gulf war

but the problem is that Canada only has maybe not even 20 fly-able fighters in the whole air force...

Who told you that? Seriously. Who did?

Canada has about 120 F-18s, of which, about 80 operational.

i seriously doubt that canada can actually manage to put all 80 jets into air at once...

anyways, my point is that canada's air force sucks..

if in case a country does invade canada (even though thats geographically impossible),

we'll
1) either all run to the states,
2) or to have the states army coming over to help,
3) or to just surrender if the states dont care..

Planned allocation is two operational squadrons of 24 aircraft each, with the remaining 33 available for training, testing and evaluation AETE, and depot level maintenance.
Operational readiness: Of the 48 aircraft in operational squadrons, 34 (70%) are normally mission-ready on a daily basis.

en.wikipedia.org...

If they needed more aircraft during crisis, then there is no reason they couldn't make the training squadrons operational, and pour extra recources into making the other aircraft mission ready - that's what they do in deployments. Besides, why is Canada, or ANY, airforce going to need all aircraft in the air at once?

anyways, my point is that canada's air force sucks..

Not really.

3) or to just surrender if the states dont care..

And why exactly are you going to spend billions of dollars on an airforce if invasion is 'geographically impossible'? Perhaps if you were team America, World Police, but not Canada...

Israel has the best Air Force you dumb ass, not United States, israelies are more hardcore combat trained, they deffended their homeland from three neighbouring countries that invaded Iserael(Egypt;Jorden;Iraq) on the 6 day war than US or any other Air Force.United States Navy is for sure is the largest hence more man power.United States Navy is no doubt the largest in the world and most powerfull when it comes to arsenals such as carries(Longest carrier, carrier:USS Nimitz (CVN-68)

Sweden should be in there somewhere in between 3-6 they have some of the worlds most potent fighters. I know what you're thinking but fighters such as the Saab Gripen are at the cutting edge of fighter design. I know I have studied aircraft for years and I was very surprised to learn that Sweden is a player on the world stage of fighter design.

7. France (excellent mirage planes.. lacks in quantity)

9. Canada (Average size and extremly well trained pilots)

I must disagree. The UK airforce has been in constant service for two decades and their aircraft do the job required and do it well. The Israeli airforce's experience is over-rated IMHO. India as number one? Russia as number three - they may have quantity but how many can actually fly?
