That's the way humans tend to work though, isn't it. It's not racism... but in Obama's case, it's a convenient fallback. It's one of the
reasons that Obama's approval rating remains above about 5%... because he's still supported to some degree by the black community, simply because
...it's also the reason why George W. Bush won a second term... he was still largely supported by the same demographic base that delivered power to
him in the first place (is there a white trash demographic (I'm white, just FYI)?
That's not racism, it's not bad taste, it's just the facts.
People will always enjoy the support of some of those who fall into the same demographic as they do. George W. Bush enjoyed support he didn't
deserve, because he appealed to a large 'fan base'. Obama, similarly, is considered on many fronts to be one of the worst presidents ever, yet he
continues to enjoy the support of a fairly avid fan base himself.
Even that support, however, is beginning to wane...
