ok folks you can rest easy

captain star buck was referring to the big event that happened today

NASA held a media teleconference on Solar Flares, increasing in strength and longevity thanks to new data from the shiny new SDO spacecraft

Colonel bluebeard and Cap'n sparrow flew their X916dash427dash3B in hyper space and deployed the sails of the solar juice collector just in time to save planet earth from a devastating rain of galactic cane toads....

then they went and smashed elenin into 3 bits that will narrowly miss earth - the 3 bits are now competing talkback radio stations. Cap'n beefeater had to make a 35 minute diversion back to elenin when he was almost back at the moon, to adjust the antenna on the 3rd piece of elenin as they weren't getting all the foxtel channels and would have missed the rugby world cup - sigh - its a tough gig...

see the media files and transcripts if you dare

Yup. I would ban them too. I am on a football site that is so strict it has it set up where you can't sign up for another account and they watch the forum like hawks if you say the word ''ass'' you get warned,( though I disagree with word censoring, so idiotic).

You make it hard for people to make false fake persona accounts, they will be more accountable for their activity on here, well, some will, some can't be stopped, they were born to troll.

Well I gave it 7 days. I can't stress enough to people who have premonitions or observe a said prophecy, please try to quit with the actual giving of dates. If I was mentally unstable and read this site I would think the world is ending every other 3 days.

Which we already have the stuff and NASA is keeping it from view.

we have not met the fundamental criteria. When we " Landed " on the moon, They asked to see our tech, and offered to help us improve we declined for unknown reasons. They took this as human pride, and left us to do it on our own and lent us the craft to come to meetings.

They don't know what they are doing, for all we know they could endanger themselves. As well, someone already cracked the design before NASA was even made.

Though there is evidence to suggest attempts have been made, no working reverse engineered craft has been used. Just the loaners.

NASA does not represent the people, we represent ourselves and some of us already found ways to travel faster than light. Study Joseph H. Cater's work and Tesla's MHD drive unit, they provide ways to travel way faster than light.

All in all I agree FTL is possible. Both of these men have done plenty of research and both have amazing theories, but they are still just theories. I have not read any working experiments to date. I personally like the Alqubierre drive theory. However there are many great theories. en.wikipedia.org...

For the worse case scenario, those "aliens" could be MIEC, and they don't want people to have power

Very human response They don't really care if we have power, but in the presence of truly advanced civilizations the need to be a super power is unnecessary. If this whole Alliance is true, and we are to survive as a race we need to focus advancing our health, living situations and taking care of Earth.

We are not slow, our leaders are not true leaders but they are our servents and they are slow. Here I am building something that can be fitted onto a car and make it go faster than it could before, beat that into your heads, those that some would call leaders.

As a human race as a whole, we are incredibly slow learners. As individuals we really do not make any discoveries or evolutionary advances on our own. We have a select group of individuals that use our minds to their full potential and many of those amazing minds are working on new ways to destroy each other, or working against each other finding updated versions of technology that does us more harm than good and finding ways to clean up the mess that technology leaves behind. If a small portion of the worlds military budget and man power was put towards saving or bettering man kind we would be much further ahead. As far as the leaders go, we are their servants. That's how it's set up most of us just don't know that, or don't mind.

Oh and what are you building to put on a car to make it go faster ? Worry about fuel efficiency, there isn't a place on our populated earth where making a car go faster than most already do is more beneficial than it is dangerous. Try to invent a way to make it emission free, or fuel efficient. I too can slap a super charger on my truck and make it faster, or a turbo charger or I could work up a new device to do the exact same idea, it's been done and it doesn't serve a purpose outside of motor sports.

We do qualify, but we have to do it on our own time and by ourselves, unrestrained and independent of corrupted officials/servants. They already know that there are those who would love to prove their worth by actually doing it.

We do not qualify, we are fighting all over our planet proving we are still an immature race, and not a true civilization. Think of us as the 21 year old drunken fighters in a bar of a species. We have a whole lot of growing up to do before we will be deemed worthy. That's why the first term is to become a world society and stop killing each other. We don't even accept every individual as who they are let alone not go to war. We have a long way to go. I would love to prove my worth, and I try to do so by being civilized and helping everyone around me go just as far as I do. I don't really see that many people doing the same.

What do you think the whole "Cold War" was about? It was a final defense against those who were going to invade but stopped. I don't even see why radiation is so dangerous, I learned it's relatively harmless. If you know Orgone science, then you would understand. The Moon's pull/gravity is 98% that of Earth's.

The cold war was the definition of human nature. If we think we are right we will fight to the end, even if it means we all lose. The cold war was ended by an outside party intervention. Radiation is and will remain extremely dangerous to human tissues both on and off of Earth. In fact I believe it's a huge limitation as far as our ability to travel in deep space.

Okay, if human beings were a part of the Alliance, why would aliens need to collect human specimens? Couldn't they just ask for volunteers? Why, oh why, hasn't this been moved to [HOAX] yet?

According to what everyone keeps saying in here we aren't in the alliance anymore. our membership was annulled. This is all pretty insane stuff. All here say as far as I care, and everyone keeps changing what's been said. It's been revised over and over new people come and say different # and I'm pretty sure the original announcement hasn't happened or has been lost in all this BS. It should be closed really.

I agree, time to move it to the hoax forum, he said hes prove he was the OP by this morning at the latest.

Its clearly several people on a wind up.

It was a decent story though, much better than all the hollywood reboots and sequels.

This does no make sense. If aliens can track us then surely they already knew that the moon landing was a fake. Also, I don't see anyone being so generous as to allow a group "membership" in an "alliance" without concrete proof that they belonged. At least the joiner should have the secret handshake pat down by a certain time after membership is offered.

Another thing is if we could fool them for that length of time then please tell me why we'd want to be in their alliance, anyway?

I would like all of the posts that predict a date on whatever upcoming events to be sold to Foxwoods Casino, and there, just like the long shot sport bets that they make so much money on, some analyzer would post odds on both sides of the fence of these predictions and take bets.

At the going rate, even at 100-1, I would take the neigh road and still make a lot of money. The casino would clean up on the other side, since obviously , there would be a lot of takers. A Win-Win in the eyes of professionals.

The membership was not a non-controversial one and there certainly was no unanimity among the aliens regarding granting it. You could call it a provisional membership.

In order for the aliens to ask for volunteers, they must first make their presence known openly. That is done only when the sentient species qualifies. We don't ask chimps and rats for volunteers to do experiments on them. Do we?

So there was an arrangement where we were to be treated as "qualifying", but only to a limited degree.

This does no make sense. If aliens can track us then surely they already knew that the moon landing was a fake.

There are two ways in which knowledge is acquired, one is by first hand verification and another by trusting a claim.

The aliens had no reason to expect the claim was fake because they themselves were expecting something like that to happen sooner than later and it was being announced to earth people, not the aliens about whose existence earth people were not aware of until then. As any species that has gone through evolution they too would be capable of deception and hence cannot rule that possibility out. But deception is employed only when it has an advantage. They could not guess what advantage a fake claim bestowed upon those making the claim. If it was fake and intended to achieve an advantage against the others of the species, there should be suspicions aroused from the potential losers about the claim. Which too didn't come. That was sufficient reason for them to assume the announced landings took place.

Also, I don't see anyone being so generous as to allow a group "membership" in an "alliance" without concrete proof that they belonged. At least the joiner should have the secret handshake pat down by a certain time after membership is offered.

There was nothing "generous" about the membership. It certainly didn't treat humans as equals. We still had to prove our worthiness, which we failed and got kicked out. The verification would have come in the way of checking the technology used for landings, which was refused them under the guise of pride. They were not desperate to grant us membership. It is a routine thing for them to do, like offering membership of a neighbourhood association for a recent arrival. Since they couldn't grant a full membership they granted one which was provisional, whcih was sort of a compromise.

Another thing is if we could fool them for that length of time then please tell me why we'd want to be in their alliance, anyway?

It was not them we were "fooling", ourselves. They chose to trust our claims regarding a matter that didn't hold much significance for them. If you think this alliance represents some kind of a Galactic Ruling Council, you are sorely mistaken. It is more like an alliance of anthropologists or some such insignificant one. You may see them as "worth" joining only if they are incapable of being deceived how so ever insignificant the matter is, but others may look at it differently. For one thing, being part of the alliance means, we don't get treated like chimps or rats. It also means the benefit of learning something that we don't know about.

ATS needs to do something about these prediction threads. Not only are they usually trolling, and play off the fear of others, but given the ATS reputation system, with F&S's, they are heavily rewarded. Some people put a lot of time into creating threads, which provide very good information. Yet they are often skipped over because trolling threads like this one, grab all the attention.

These prediction threads have become the weak link for ATS. They are why many leave ATS, and others simply laugh at it. But many members also have complained repeatedly about these types of threads. and ATS has done NOTHING, to get rid of any of them. Why the hell is this thread still up, without [hoax]? Why is it up at all? Why has the OP been rewarded with 100 flags? Yet when we criticize ATS, or posters who post trolling threads like these, it's our posts which get removed. What a joke.

To be honest, I haven't seen many worthwhile threads worth reading on ATS in months and this one helped at least surpass the otherwise boredom when you have free time at night to go online when everything else is done but then find that ATS content is lacking in anything interesting.

Also, if you don't like prediction threads whether they're false or true, nothing stopping you from leaving and finding a forum where there are no predictions at all (good luck with that)

For those who are interested, that was Bluecoat2s last post. Whatever that means...

All Ports received the following:

(ESTS) Earth Spacial Tracking Stations are monitoring 29 Alliance crafts. 9 have joined a stationary holding cluster formation above Chile. 12 have joined a stationary holding cluster formation above Southern China. 8 are non stationary and following suspected operational repeat reconnaissance trajectories.

(SSTS) Solar Spacial Tracking Stations are tracking 5 non-alliance crafts and 2 objects that have entered our solar system over the past 72 hours. The 5 non-alliance crafts and accompanying 2 objects have been designated "Highest Concern".

I'm just checking in to see if this thread was moved into the hoax forum. Of course it has not....

That's because there's proof that it is true.

Yupp, some guy on the internet says so.
