McCain and Obama are both mega progressive globalists and both support wars and carbon taxes, so who cares? McCain/Palin was the lesser of two evils but they are all horrible, all of the establishment political wingnuts on BOTH SIDES are almost all bought and paid for by big banking, big oil, big agra, big pharma, big tech etc. There are little to no honest politicians out there, except for a few. You all watch way too much television for your own good, and the amount of brainwashed people on ATS is relatively alarming.

Ghost, the fact is I don't just read stuff online.I've been to rallies at Tea Parties and that kind of obvious racism is not looked upon favorably, unlike the libs who blatantly called Governor Walker a dictator and blatantly supported signs depicting him as Hitler. There is a difference. I am sorry, but leftists have a history of radicalism. Most Tea Partiers call it like it is. Obama is a Marxist, supporting Marxist ideals and it's just not compatible with the ideals of our Founding Fathers. The left and most Democrats support Obama precisely because he spouts Socialist rhetoric and actively pushes socialist schemes and agendas. Let's not forget who called George Bush a dictator and a fascist. The Left has two tactics Ive noticed. One is to distance themselves from Obama when he does stuff like bomb Libya. then he's just Bush the second. But when he pushes socialist healthcare he is considered a great hero.
This is the fundamental rift in the country, between those who want Statism and socialism, and those who want freedom and liberty and a sound economy based on limited govt.
It is not my fault you cannot comprehend this.

We hate anyone that isn't Christian? ... LOL. You're sooo smart, would you tutor me in aiddishin and sabtraksun i has pikters to help us wif my humwerk

Keep saying stuff that absolutely makes no sense and continue to get treated like a downsy.

edit: I'm agnostic for the record. Not all of us are die hard christians, or religious at all for that matter. Your blatant attempt to stereotype and dumb people down into groups for your own personal benefit will not work here, sir.
edit on 8/30/2011 by smarterthanyou because: (no reason given)

What does religion have anything to do with intelligence?
I didn't do anything to imply I was criticizing people's intelligence. You did that, sir.
I was talking about the majority. The majority claim they are christian, and the majority put down foreigners. They use Kenyan as a slur. They hate Muslims. I could go on...
I haven't said anything questioning the intellect of Tea Partiers.

So, does this mean that members of the Tea Party can start shooting Congressmen and Congresswomen who are members of the Congressional Black Caucus? If so, does that mean those Tea Party members are bound by the Geneva Convention protections when captured by the U.S. Government, and thus will NOT be tried for any crimes, such as murder or treason? After all, it's a war, declared by members of Congress.

Hmmmmmmmmm. Makes one wonder just how far these racist pricks want to push this!

Edit: It's sad to see our Congressional members declaring war on U.S. CITIZENS. The difference is that the Tea Party members won't get violent. It's not how we do things. There is an old pilot's saying that goes, "If you're catching flac, you're over the target." It seems to me that the Tea Party has these racists all spun up, and the only thing they can do is claim the Tea Party is "racist" or "xenophobic" or "anti-American". I never knew balancing a budget was "racist" act. I never dreamed that being fiscally responsible was somehow "un-American". I never once thought I'd live to see the day that a bunch of racist Congressional members would openly declare war on the American people. I guess all the accountants should go hang themselves, or check themselves into a reeducation camp.

Put down foreigners? Are you serious? Where do you come up with this slop? Outrageous! It is just much easier to stereotype than it is to see reality.

It's clear you don't comprehend what you're talking about...
In one sentence you say he's a marxist, in another you say he's a socialist. There's a big difference between the two.
You don't actually understand what you're talking about....you're just spouting off talking points from Fox News.
I've done a lot of research on Marxism and Socialism. Obama is neither.
The Health care reform isn't socialized healthcare in the slightest. I don't care how many times you've heard it...

Quit acting like robots and saying everything you hear on Fox News or any other source like that verbatim.

Until you can explain in detail how Obama is a marxist, and how the healthcare bill is socialist...

Yah let's look at the people who have committed violent acts in this country since Obama took office.

First it was the Fort Hood shooter. Not a tea partier, and not very conservative.

Then there was the guy who flew the plane into the building. Not a tea Partier and not a conservative. Then there was the shooter of the Congresswoman. Not a Tea Partier and Not a conservative. How abouot those SEIU thugs beating up the black guy in St Louis at a Tea Party.

How are we doing here ?

No arguments here. I know you could have probably filled a page with examples. However, the Tea Party haters will never admit to it. They'll blame the Tea Party for everything. They've even tried to blame the default on the Tea Party. Nothing surprises me now when the leftists open their mouths. Speaking of which, they're like baby birds. Mouths open, expecting someone else to feed them.

Well considering the violence coming out of Islam lately, you know like beheadings and such. But then many of the radicals are homegrown types. Take those in Britain for example. There is definitely a problem with British born muslims being radicalized.
But lest you misunderstand, I've been to Tunisia three times myself. Great people, great country. Nice to tourists, even Americans. In fact they had a news story about British radicalized people on Tunisia tv. I even borrowed a pen from an Iraqi guy at the customs station. He told me I was his enemy and I told him I was not. We chatted calmly. His inkpen did leak onto my hand though.

You people always result to insults when you have nothing to say, don't you?
Whenever you present facts that contradict conservative beliefs the insults come flying.

Third eye, you realize you've been associating with those who agree with you. Go further into the TP. Sorry - same as always - the problem is once a moniker is established, GOP/DEM LEFT RIGHT etc, a broad brush comes with it - what you claim is liberalism (justified- when you point to the loons as we all see them) is the same as claiming no middle class tax breaks and lets fund corps till we die is TP's agenda(justified - if you go with the outsiders in the TP) The race issue is big with the nuts who want to bring down Obama - the worst will bring out the worst as they say - it is always telling in these times who throws their proverbial hat in the ring - isn't it?

It's pretty funny really, them blaming the default on the Tea Party. Never mind the big spenders in Congress.

Here is my 2 cents, there is no way you can be a Jefferson Tea Party-er and be a Republican, here is why.

1. The Republicans support corporate welfare. The Banks operate with complete support of the republicans. Even today the Banks are being subsidized by us tax payers. There is no way a real Tea party-er could support this. Just look at what Jefferson said about Banks, By the way, The Banks are getting more money per year, Then the cost of Obama care for the same year..

2. The Patriot Act, This is the biggest socialist act ever perpetrated on the American people, all under the guise of National security. Ya There is no way on Gods green earth would a Jefferson ever approve this. This Act comes strait from the republican party.. And again how much does all this cost per Year, Yup you could insurer every Man woman and child for the price per year. and by the way those Fema Camps are real, all paid for by me and you with full support of the republican Party..

Right now the TP is just a extension of the Republican party. It started of good but quickly got high jacked.. Its sad.. Both Partys are bought and paid for by Corp America.. Have you even ever heard Rush L talk about Corp well fare. No way. Both partys want to keep the status quo!! Its time for a real third party,

It's not an insult, it's a fact. Follow the money. The only reason people are against the Tea Party is because they're afraid someone is going to take their "gubment" check. Here's a clue, I already pay enough taxes. I'm taxed at 35%. I think me wanting to keep 65% of the money I've worked for is more than fair for you and your spend happy buddies.

Race has nothing to do with it, except that liberals voted for Barack because of some deep seated need to prove they are not racist. And the DNC clearly promoted him to garner the black vote. It's called pandering. We know they are doing it and why.
As for Tea Partiers, it was pretty easy to spot the Marxist rhetoric. It's just so simple. Ms Pelosi comes under fire as well. I know of no Tea Partier who likes Ms Pelosi. It's clear the Statist agenda they are pursuing and it's against our Founding principles. It's just that simple.
I know that libs here won't admit it.

Where did he admit (as if it's something to be ashamed of) that he is muslim? What he said was it's true that Mcains camp wasn't guilty of attacking his muslim faith which he clarified as to meaning that MCain wasn't "accusing" him of being muslim. How did you manage to misunderstand that? And again I have to ask what it would matter if her were muslim?

Are we ignoring this now because it doesn't fit your agenda?

I think this is the last year the Republican party will be a major party. I think that these next set of elections will fracture the party into 2. Within five years, I predict the Democrats will fracture as well.

The reality is, most of the Tea Party people I know are more "Libertarian" than anything. They don't care about "gay marriage" or "abortion". They may have deep opinions on them, but they won't make it a front issue like the Republican party does. Because of this, they are attacked by the old Republican folks. Here's an example of ONE tea party member (who happens to be black).

1: Balance the budget!
2: Secure the borders (you can't have endless social programs and endless immigration)
3: I'm against abortion, but this case law has been SETTLED! It's a waste of money to keep making it an issue.
4: Gay Marriage: Go for it. Not a problem in my opinion. It won't somehow invalidate MY marriage.
5: The 2nd Amendment has "the people" in it for a reason, just like the 1st Amendment.
6: The majority of Republicans are purchased puppets.
7: The majority of Democrats are purchased puppets (bought by the same people who bought the Repubs.)

That's a quick list. It seems to me that the Tea Party is more "centrist", and that's what scares both parties!
