Wow. Thanks for an interesting read and a busy thread. I hope peoples questions have been addressed (family time for me) but if not, I'll try to answer questions/issues.

I call the Tea Party a scruffy little grassroos movement, because that's how I see it from my perspective. We don't have a spokesman, take money from rich folks pushing an agenda, and we don't have a central party platform.

The Tea Party philosophy I try to espouse is simple. If you want to get into specifics on a variety of separate issues, you'd see a broad spectrum of personal beliefs and interpretations.

The hatred that our little movement has caused is an indication that we are on the right track. Those in D.C. want people to rely, need people to rely, on government.

When the Tea Party can engender this type of response, it means we're on the right track.

I don't know what he does personally for the poor. I just know that he's pro Constitution and his family knew first hand what communist dictatorship is about.

You're right....the poor sucks anyway. We should roll up the constitution into a tight tight cylinder and smack the poor like they are flies.

Did I say they were printed up by the TP? I asked why do none of the speakers address the blatant racism being shown by their supporters?

And that is why Fox News is bad...
That is all blatant propaganda egged on by Fox News. It is driven by emotions, not an semblance of fact, AKA propaganda. When will they realize that they are being led by propaganda even better than the Nazis used?

oh yah even your vid says theres photoshop pics. I cannot vouch for some of those posters any more I guess than you can vouch for Scott Walker with a Hitler mustache in Wisconsin. By the way, it's a known fact that there were Democrat plants crashing T Parties. The Hitler mustache signs were part of that. It's also a known fact that Obama identifies with Black Libertation theology(exclusive liberation for blacks) and the Quran, and bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia. It is also a known fact that some blacks were slavers and owned white slaves. It's good to know history.

And what is racist about wanting Christianity represented instead of atheism or Islam? At this time it is apparent that Obama represents Islam in the WH, in addition to Marxism. So it's ok to espouse Marxism? Marx had a maid too by the way.

That's the fundamental problem of the Tea Party. Anyone can join despite what their beliefs really are. So you're intentions are probably very good and noble, but that doesn't mean the majority have your same beliefs.
You all say you want smaller government? How so? You ask 1000 TPers and you're likely to get 1000 different answers. I'm all for less government regulation of the common folks, but we have to regulate big corporations that deal with hazardous chemicals. I'm for raising taxes on the top 2% of the country. Does that make me a socialist? No. Corporations like G.E. get PAID money, instead of paying taxes. That is not okay. But the way the Tea Party is being led, intentionally with fear driven propaganda, you can be sure the majority are not for raising taxes that MUST be raised.

the video says the TEA PARTY PHOTOSHOPPED PICS. Both sides are doing the Hitler signs, it's ridiculous from all parties. Democrat plants? Enough of the paranoia, buddy.
Bowing is a sign of respect. In many parts of the world, it is a common practice. I'm sorry that the Tea Partiers are uneducated on that fact. "It's also a known fact that Obama identifies with Black Libertation theology(exclusive liberation for blacks) and the Quran," I wouldn't call that a fact. It's a known paranoid belief of the right, but besides that, I'd like to prove to me how that is a fact. It's a good idea to respect others' holy books, lest you better be prepared when they disrespect yours. So far, I've only seen christians disrespecting the holy books of others.

"At this time it is apparent that Obama represents Islam in the WH, in addition to Marxism. So it's ok to espouse Marxism?"
You need to stop watching Fox News. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Apparently all you are capable of is nasty quips and comments. How about some genuine analysis instead of hateful personal attacks? I have yhet to see anything truly intellectual come from you. Again, is it the Mean Girls talking again?

What's wrong with having multiple ideas? We all don't march to the beat of the same drummer. There is no pamphlet, no rules to obey here. That's what makes us so dangerous to those in power.
You differentiate between "common folks" and those wealthy folks, but why differentiate? Personally, I'm all for a flat tax. Everyone pays the same. If you make 20K or 20 million, you pay the same %. We shouldn't punish success and reward failure.
Raising taxes is a silly argument when you don't cut spending. Make government smaller, and you won't need to raise taxes.

Yes, let's make it 10 percent.

20k, you lose 2k.

20mil, you lose 2mil.

Actually, that stinks. I think we need to make up for how the poor have screwed the wealthy. Stinky maggots they are...you agree?

2 million is so much more than 2k. It's obvious who is taking the hit here. 2 million is a bigger number. that means it's harder for them to live. makes sense to me.

I say, if poor want social programs, they pay for it themselves, and leave us rich bastards alone.

umm...Obama is christian. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about lol. Even if he was muslim, so what? Doesn't the Constitution that you are so moved by afford freedom of religion?

Where does it say the signs are photoshopped?

10% sounds great. Everyone pays. No loopholes, no exceptions.
But fairness isn't what you're about, is it? You want more.

Yours is a very telling post.

You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Obama is no more Christian than Karl Marx. BLT is more Marxist than Christian anyway, more proof you do not know what you are talking about. Ever hear of James Cone? He is behind BLT and promoted Marxism.
Then there was the interview BO did where he admitted his true faith

Oh yes, and let's not forget how Obama made a school cover it's religious symbols before his speech. Deneen Borelli makes very good commentary about the impression he makes religiously

Its no mistake. I am sorry, but the Tea Party as I see it, while many of its members may be well intentioned, is nothing but a front group bankrolled by a bunch of corporatists with the agenda of destroying unions, public education, any social safety net and whatever government regulations that dont allow them to be feudal lords. Google Koch Brothers and you have the whole story. The same thing happened back in the 30s, you had this group of ultra rich fascists who tried to wrap themselves in patriotism to try to subvert the people and overthrow the government. If you plan to support the Tea Party, please research who is bankrolling it, and why.

We knew this was coming. We knew they were going to try and brand small government, anti federal reserve, anti war, pro 2nd amendment, personal freedom loving constitutional libertarians as racist or terrorists. It's all politics and it even goes deeper than that with the new world order. I'm guessing this man is just trying to play politics and rile up his base. But this kind of talk is very dangerous all the same. We don't call every Progressive democrat a globalist now do we? No, because Libertarians agree with the Progressives on a variety of issues. We differ on the role of government. THIS KIND OF RHETORIC NEEDS TO STOP! It's old and tired. If there are any racists in my Libertarian Tea Party I will personally kick them the hell out.

Keep saying stuff that absolutely makes no sense and continue to get treated like a downsy.

edit: I'm agnostic for the record. Not all of us are die hard christians, or religious at all for that matter. Your blatant attempt to stereotype and dumb people down into groups for your own personal benefit will not work here, sir.

Where did he admit (as if it's something to be ashamed of) that he is muslim? What he said was it's true that Mcains camp wasn't guilty of attacking his muslim faith which he clarified as to meaning that MCain wasn't "accusing" him of being muslim. How did you manage to misunderstand that? And again I have to ask what it would matter if her were muslim?
