I just removed the quote (from my website) from this post. I did so because it lead straight to my website on google, some thing I thought would happen, however, worse than that, google instantly spidered the ATS post I just made, something that would take weeks on my website if I added new content! That is incredible to me, close to impossible coincidence. I'm freaking now.

Possibly the new google thing here on ATS? Just a thought...I don't care for the new google add on on ATS, personally.

Of course it's time to worry, OP.

Just the fact that you are an ATS member puts you on a watch list, I'm sure of it.

Advice?

Vote for Ron Paul, he wants to end unwarranted and without court order spying on American citizens (Patriot Act).

If the black helicopters show up, that's when I would really start worrying...

Don't worry they are black listed.

www.robtex.com...
www.rfc-ignorant.org...

It seems to be United States Baltimore Department Of Homeland Security. Are you in Baltimore?
Baltimore seems to be where United States Citizenship and Immigration Services works with Homeland Security doing background checks. www.uscis.gov... Are you applying for citizenship? Or someone you know?

I don't mind "persons" visiting my website All_Truth_Soon, just not big on having Homeland Security checking it out.

Also, I'm well aware of how the internet works and I'm very good at SEO. I can redirect the search bots with a meta tag if I wanted to.

What I have on the page they went to was an article about the wholesale slaughter of the passenger pigeon and how the government encouraged it's extinction in an effort to control the Native Americans. Hardly a threat to the current administration (at least in my opinion).

I'm in West Michigan and a natural born citizen. I am not aware of anyone I know seeking U.S. citizenship. Thanks for the info.

My GF just informed me that someone was flying circles over our place early yesterday morning. She's not sure if it was a plane, but it was low and loud enough to wake her up early. There is nothing out here but swamps and woods. I went to bed at around 3:30am that morning and was out cold when they did the fly over.

Damn! I better take some measures now.

Well, good news I hope!

I went back to the stats and took a closer look at the web page that the DHS came from when they visited my website. Apparently they were surfing yahoo images for pictures of bigfoot. Here are the search terms they used when they found my website.

search images michigan bigfoot news society strange-people bigfoot-activity-heightened-during-solar-flare-event clemens michigan is once again in the news for bigfoot sightings as michig

So, perhaps quite predictably, they were bored at work and happened to be interested in the article I had about Michigan bigfoot sightings. Apparently the other article about Passenger Pigeons that bad mouths the feds wasn't under scrutiny.

Quite a relief! It even gives new information on bigfoot to research - a connection between solar flares and bigfoot sightings.

I think you are just freaking out and over reacting. I mean come on they were on you website for a COMBINED TOTAL of 0 seconds, not enough time to really get anything on you. I mean come on you don’t think the feds get bored at work and surf the web too? More than likely it was just a DHS worker being bored and somehow linked to your site with no intentions of anything business related and you’re freaking out over nothing. So just relax man have a beer or a smoke or whatever it is that you do to relax and don’t worry about it

Don't sweat it. I use to co-admin a fansite for a British actor and we'd occasionally get hits from US government and military sites.

Even they get bored sometimes. Nothing like killing a bit of time surfing your pet interest.

Have you stopped to ponder that maybe some person at HLS was bored and surfing the net...and for some benign reason ended up on your site? You really shouldn't worry if you aren't already involved in or planning on doing something that would be of interest to HLS.

And no, I don't work for Homeland Security.

You are PARANOID!

I am a webmaster/search engine specialist and i know how Google spiders and indexing works.

For example, ATS is an extreme "authority" site and content is usually indexed (and ranked!!) almost immediately on such sites. You put a link on here, which causes the Google spiders to index your site too. ITS NORMAL. It's actually a good thing because it would give your site value to get a link from a site like here.

Thanx for the info flexy123.

Is "authority" site indexing a paid Google service or a ranking parameter based on content or links or what? I'd be interested to know more about this. And yes, I'm extremely paranoid when DHS has an eye toward my website.
