The Cartels will always exist now.
They have intensive;ly cultivated inroads to every echelon of Mexican governance.
The Zetas are American Trained ! Whats to say they are not American directed by the CIA or other intel agency which is part of the plot to destabilise mexico into an excuse for an invasion to" save" the people from the Cartels?

PS you never hear of the Chevvy plant or the other industrial enterprises of the corporate structure getting attacked do ye?

The last time there was a depression, drugs were used as a tool against minorities. I have no idea why people allow this to occur again. Can no one see the correlation?

This country relies on the Spanish raped descendants of this land. The Native American Tribes have mostly sold themselves to the Empire for a buck (Casinos, etc), but the Mexican immigrants are, generally, the reason our economy can function on a high level. To deny this is to misunderstand how the labor system is stacked.

Mexico has always been run by drug cartels.. when the government attempted to stop that... all hell broke loose.

How is that the government having no balls? It is the best thing that could ever happen. Legalise them! Make it not a crime. That does away with all the black op stuff. The government and the people will have won completely.

And for the criminals, amnesty. They are going to face what they've done in the afterlife, and need to spend their lives repenting. But if that is what it takes for the people to win, good.

They've won.

Now wish we could get amnesty for the leaders and corporate monsters in this world and they step down and reveal everything and start to work to heal earth and equalize, with freedom. I'd go the amnesty route there too.

To take down drug cartels need the will and means.
Seems both may be lacking.
First logical question is how did they become so well armed and established, that doesn't just happen by random chance. I suspect its a combination of big corporate business with the Cia, and some corrupt politician in mexico and US who are behind it all.
How to stop it is always a matter of identifying and rooting out corruption at the top level then the base will crumble away.

Watch enough of these and you will see what living in Mexico is like. They tell you whats going on in the videos, why these people are being killed.

It's Major Terrorism on a massive scale right across the Texas border - does it get reported this way? Nope.

Why? The CIA and US Government is getting tons of money and drugs from these cartels and they use these to control the hundreds of thousands of Americans who use any form of illegal drug.

The CIA we know has been involved with this so it's very likely the NSA is involved also as they do work closley with the CIA.

Mexican Government seals the records of drug cartels because to many of them were being killed. And it is real. It is not some spoof. I also like how people are talking about the beheadings and so on calling it terrorism. What terrorism? That stuff going on overseas? Well maybe you did not notice but Turkey dropped the needs for visas or passports with Colombia. Because all the Colombians are going there to work for companies like the one Eric Prince is running and they are the ones who are starting the new trend of beheadings an eating of hearts in Syria. The drug route of Colombia to Turkey is also a route for mercenaries who will do any thing they are told including beheadings and even eat your heart if the price is right. And I guess that Prince from the UAE who hired Eric Prince to build his private army likes the crazy ones who will do anything for money. Colombian neck ties I guess are so yesterday.

Most people think of terrorism as a guy with a towel on his head. But you seem to notice that it is a tactic and not a nationality which is good. And most people don't know about how these cartels are tied to Turkey and supplying some nasty mercenaries for over seas. but it is not just the cartels tied to these guys but even the military here in the US. And in the article posted above you see where they say if some one gets in the elite military squad who does assassinations for the military they are in and if they quit they become target #1. So now they run off over seas to be safe. Even if they don't join the cartels they are still hunted. So now they go over seas and work as mercenaries for hire.

That is the smartest thing they could do.

1. Drug cartels in an effort to win over the public and protect their best source of revenue, literally eliminate all minor drug dealers and kidnappers (violent wild cards). When there is a strong cartel the kidnappings and ransoms stop. Street violence goes down and all is well because there is plenty of money on the street as well as a REAL law of the land.

2. When elections come around and everyone wants to buy their politician in hopes that he will win the elections all hell breaks loose. If the existing cartels are allowed to exist and are not challenged then all that ends. All the violence we see on international news spiked when the elections were being done for local and national positions. If that influence is not disputed there will be almost zero executions by dumbasses trying to move up the ladder of criminal prosperity. The big dogs will guard the bowl and no one will growl and bark like maniacs for a bite. They will sit and play nice for a treat.

3. If the drug cartels are treated the SAME EXACT WAY that the US deals with the many mafias here then violence will go down since the upper echelon of the criminal world will work with law enforcement to keep everyone in check. This is how things are done in the US. I isht you not.

4. If lesser drugs are legalized there then the flow of them into the US will be reduced since American drug tourists will just go there for the free consumption of them. Also you must realize that the US is VERY near to legalizing marijuana since the model for taxation and regulation is almost completely worked out. Things have changed dramatically in the last 10 years in regards to that. Also this means that many small time dealers will be out of business. Just like the repeal of prohibition nearly killed the Mob back in the day.

5. They must negotiate. If not the country will continue down the path of violent deaths and instability. There is a reason why the FBI stopped waging an all out war with the mafia. No one would win and everyone would lose. The many mafias in the US still exist and are MORE PROSPEROUS and numerous now then ever. Think about that. They work with the government and are pretty much going to always exist. The days of machine gun showdowns is over here.....there is a reason for that and it is not because the FBI won. The mafia still exists...think about that.

6. I have been to mexico and the situation is too tense and unstable to continue that way perpetually. The small dealers and criminals must be dealt with by the large cartels since public resources are being spent at an alarming rate with few successes. In reality 3 cartels must be left to operate and their task (as it was before the blood bath) is to keep petty criminals out of work and scared /in check. Those are THE MOST DANGEROUS criminals. Not the cartels. The wild cards are their business and the information the cartels may have on general criminality must flow to the government for overall control and security.

This is, believe it or not, what the US wants them to do. The US and Mexico will one day legally produce and sell the worlds drugs.

It is what it is.

i'm unsure if i'm more surprised by the lack of discretion or the lack of true order. all the worlds drug cartels are owned and operated by the wealthiest people in the world, the ones who run governments so it's no wonder the govt does nothing, they would just be cutting off their own foot, which they sometimes do to make it appear to be a different situation.

I guess part of that is the whole rub.

The cartels are better armed, financed and organized than the Gov is.

IF they legalize the drug trade, then the cartels will just move to another vice...human traficking, weapons of mass destruction...etc...etc...etc.

Once a person or group of people has got accustomed to the kind of money they have made for the last 50 years, they ARE NOT going to take a 10% profit margin and call it a day.
