Not I. I decided to stay in Europe. I also didn't want to raise my kids in the US. My relatives are all wealthy, and they send me their kids who are all obese They claim they eat nothing but raw veggies at home, and truly have no clue that they are obese! Some weird state of denial going or something.

They also know NOTHING about what is currently going on in the world, or history, geography..... I'm getting college kids that know less than my high school age kids. They study finance in college.... and when you ask them, so what will/can you do with that? What is your career goal? they answer (true story) "I don't know." *shrug*

They seem to have no humility at all. No objective sense of themselves, their personal weaknesses and flaws, and so of course cannot take those into account in decision making or work on developing them more. I guess we've over-done the positive self image thing, to a point they no longer have their feet on the ground.

I guess adults can live with this attitude fine, but I really wonder if they are thinking about the effect it has on the next generations of Americans. The whole boasting and chest pounding behavior is rather benign amongst adults.... but the kids might be becoming too soft and ignorant because of it.

Icon to louieprima apparently.

You watch one clip and judge on that? Oh dear and no, he died of pancreatic cancer unfortunately. Of course your country is held to a higher standard, albeit stupidly, as just under 50 million of your countrys citizens lives in poverty.

America: Land of the gullible.
Either that or the Zionist States of America, or the Reptilian States of America.
Or just plain "Fatland" is fine.

Lol, well that was pretty funny.
The United States does have a lot of faults, but i really wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
The whole word has faults, i'd say America, is the least faulty, since it's the most free....well the illusion of freedom anyways.

The illusion of freedom is exactly right. The American dream: you gotta be asleep to believe it.

1. Paul wants STATES not the feds to be responsible for natural disaster responses.

Well done for clarifying that. I've seen similar statements made about Ron Paul not supporting this or that when what he is saying is exactly what you've said....he wants STATES to be responsible, not the Fed. It's so important to clarify this point again and again. Thanks for doing it.

How about you list all the non jewish ones? But that would destroy you racist rant

We should do something about that first.

yes, we all know you hate jews, so what do you want to do to them?

Will Ron Paul rename the states to "Israel V2.0"?
Since that would make more sense.

My post was an ironic jab at all the US haters. Not serious at all. I too have traveled all over Mexico, Europe and the middle east. I used to love to travel, thinking I would meet all these great people and experience exiting cultures. I spent alot of my life and money chasing this. After it was all said and done, I realized that I had wasted my time. I ended up right back in Texas where I belong, my favorite place in the world.

What a shame that you could only post one twisted piece of propaganda and then not stick around to defend your thread.

Is this what ATS has come to?
Members starting threads they're not prepared to debate and defend their views

Brings some truth to an old adage that goes "If you set the trap, it will snare them."

Umm, I had to work?

You mean ATS isn't a place where people can get brownie points for "winning" such mindless arguments?

No. I disagree. As a matter of fact, most of the Ron Paul supporters have been the best to debate with. There is not the emotional element when debating with the Paul crowd.
None have pulled the race card.

Spending is OUT OF CONTROL and this current administration has done NOTHING to help the sector of buisness that provides OVER 80% of all JOBS IN THE UNITED STATES.....SMALL BUISNESS!

Without rejuvinating small buisnesses of Main Street USA.....there can be no recovery. But if you are an employee of the Feds or States....OH BOY! HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! My mail carrier makes $115,000 a year doing a job that a 10 year old could do.....and where I live...there are people just handing out tickets for the turnpike authority to cars entering...thats it! Just handing people a ticket......they are making $90,000 a year plus benifits and get 90% of their pay upon retirement for the rest of their life....doing a job a machine could do. Split Infinity

AHHHhhh,

Someone who understands. Small business (real Capitalism) is what we need to make EVERYONE better off. What we get is the mega-corp/government revolving door with their Union leader buddies screwing everyone under a system THEY call "Capitalism" (in order to bad mouth capitalism) but is actually neo-corporatism This is the system they are using to fast track the world back into feudalism a lot sooner than may people realize.

BARTER + the right to own property = Capitalism

Fiat Currency + a bought and paid for government => Corporatism => "free range slavery" aka serfdom

The Bankers and corporate CEOs have coated the return to serfdom with a candy coating called "Socialism" and the "masses" thinking they are looking at a "Free Lunch" fall for it.

I have said it a million times. As an American for many years , born and served in The Armed Service's. I feel like it's a planned, calculated, effort to destroy America and The Govt. is a part of it or they are truely stupid!!
As far as other players conduct? Who knows where the interests of those are tied!!!!

Thx for the thread!!!

CherubBaby you are right on the money. Things don't happen out of the blue. Things happen from very careful study/observation, wide range critical think tank discussion, exploration of many possibilities and outcomes then implementation of specific rules/procedures/opinions in the public's eye etcetera. Along the way are careful checks and balances to assure the desired outcome is had.

For those who feel I'm paranoid: you're right, I am. Born that way; the point is moot. I arrived at my conclusion based on many years of life experience, reading, and conversations with many people. that's not paranoia.

There are huge amounts of influences in the American life, many with specific agendas that drive them towards their goals. businesses who seek profit & growth, and what they will do to achieve them. People who seek power in political office, their issues & views, and what they are willing to sacrifice or stoop to in order to get what they desire. Government doing what governments everywhere do. Religious organizations with their own agendas. The list is long and varied.

The beautiful part is what's done is done. One may go back and research what has been done and written over the many years to de-construct and expose what it is that has brought us to where we are today.

Often discussed issues like welfare/entitlement programs and their affects, as well as the state of modern-day families and all that go with it, are among the easiest to see through. While there is much that is hidden from prying eyes, there is still large trails and deep footprints in the sands of time that can be unveiled by going back and exposing what took place, where and why by interested parties willing to do some work.

Although I tend to agree with you....what I don't understand is, why a plan? Why a time line? Why waste all this time in a clandestine and methodical manner when all they really have to do is, shut down the government then, start all over again (in a NWO if that's their goal).

What the hell can the minions do anyway? So why the game? Why are they pulling that proverbial band-aide off so slowly? I don't get it.

They have control. They call the shots. So?......close up the government......take a weeks vacation, come back and convene in a NWO.
I can almost guarantee, if they don't take away their hand-held gadgets, 1/2 the world wouldn't notice right away anyway.
