Cult like? Passionate supporters who want to restore America are not cult like. No revolution would ever take place without people being passionate for the cause. To the point of losing life and limb.

To the point of losing life and limb... Yea, there's a problem in that statement. Who exactly are you planing to revolt against? Are you planing on starting a violent revolution in this country? Is that what your master Ron Paul is dictating to you? To start killing your fellow Americans? I'm sorry, but I'll have to disagree on that, I don't think that a violent revolution in this country is a good idea. I think that we can solve our problems in America without having to resort to violence to achieve our goals.

Here is what I'm hearing from you.
I have no hope. I support nothing. I would rather people be full of apathy and ignore the message of Liberty.

I support independent candidates. Why? Because part of the problem in this country is the two party system. Where you have Republicans voting together (instead of voting the will of their constituency) and Democrats doing likewise. There's no adequate representation anymore, we just have party politics. It's not apathy or trying to get people to loose hope, to the contrary, it's a valid and reasonable approach to solving this countries problems by taking away power from the two party system and their corporate handlers and putting it back where it belongs with the people.

Well, my response to you is: Why are you posting in this thread? No one made you click on it. If you want to support the death of our nation or the continuance of its tyranny -

I don't want the death of our nation, I want it to prosper, and thankfully I still have the 1st Amendment right to speak my mind. Perhaps you should look that up, it's quite the exceptional piece of freedom we have. Why am I posting in this thread? Because I have the right to post in this thread. But apparently Ron Paul supporters aren't fans of the 1st Amendment in this country. So there's yet another reason to not want to vote for this man. Apparently he doesn't support freedom of speech.

go elsewhere.

And there you have it folks, Ron Paul supporters hate your freedom of speech. If that's the kind of following that this Ron Paul gets, they can keep him. I would rather have my freedom of speech than have it taken away by Ron Paul's gestapo squads.

Freedom to decent? Not against the master Ron Paul apparently. Have a different opinion? They don't want your kind. And apparently are preparing according to their masters wishes to violently silence any decent that happens along the way. Doesn't sound like this Ron Paul guy wants to rid this country of tyranny, but instead oppress us all if his supporters are anything to go by.

I will be working/am working for free to help Ron Paul in my own little way and I hope others join the bandwagon of sensibility concerning how to get out of this mess with the ideas he represents. I have been Libertarian since I heard the word. The tea party is kinda hijacking the Libertarian theme but I love the enthusiasm for Dr. Paul as his ideas just pass the test of time with me. I am not convinced by the race baiting of people I detect/detest in the Democratic party. That will backfire as the black conservatives are more and more voicing their opposition to the lies being perpetrated in the name of greed and power grabbing.

Corporate shills ARE trying to occupy the conservative movement but like the clowns they are they are easily identified and seperated for what they represent by those of us who are pushing on with this grand experiment at liberty from the English monarchy. Like the Scot's, Welsh and Irish before us we have some powerful enemies helping bring about our mutual enslavement. In this case, via a central banking system controlled internationally in reality. Andrew Jackson did a whole lot wrong but he got one thing right, keep the banksters in check or die. He was the first sitting Pres to have an assassination attempt just days after killing the central bank that Jefferson warned us so clearly to prevent. The patriots knew firsthand what we are seing now as history repeats itself and by dumbing down society it is made possible to repeat the cycle. (Leader to the people: "say baaaa" sheep)

Instead of dissecting your last reply, I'll move on to the end. You think I'm against your freedom to speak. No, I'm sorry. Despite your best wishes to paint RP or his supporters as being against freedom, that is not what I'm doing. More like, if you can't offer any good solutions nor understand the basic principle of WHY RP is running on the GOP ticket, we can offer you nothing. You're only wasting everyone's time.

If you are willing to do some easy homework, you will see he DID run on an Independent ticket. His ideas are not mainstream which is why the MSM usually ignores him. You are looking specifically at the REPUBLICAN party and holding it against RP. But that whole idea is flawed on your part. He is more Libertarian than anything but he understands as do many of his supporters - you won't win as an independent. Those who try just waste millions of dollars and a lot of hard work goes down the drain.

If you want to win the game, you have to play along. I'm sorry you can't understand what so many others clearly do.

Hmm, play along? That sounds like someone who would compromise. Compromise is a good thing. Especially for a Presidential candidate. In another thread, someone who also worships Ron Paul like a god or messiah said to me that Ron Paul never compromises and never tries to work with the other side.

So there's another reason to not vote for Ron Paul, stubbornness and a lack of willingness to work with both parties. See, if Ron Paul is elected President, he would have to work with Democrats as well as his beloved Republicans. He couldn't just leave them out like our President did during the Health Care debate. That doesn't work for America, and that doesn't work with politics.

When people say he doesn't compromise, they are saying he doesn't compromise on the Constitution. He is more than willing to cross party lines in working on issues. Dennis Kucinich loves Dr. Paul - he's also democrat.

The people call him Dr. NO because he refuses to sell out the Constitution.

I say good for him! We have had enough fancy suits in Washington D.C. read to sell the people and our Constitution out to the highest bidder. Good for Ron Paul! NO COMPROMISE ON THE CONSTITUTION!

You've got your analogy wrong there, kids. In terms of that film, you're thinking of Harvey Dent.

I'm seriously getting fed up with the Ron Paul cultists. What is even more annoying is when one of you lemmings responds to me or someone else who feels the same way, trying to claim that we are wrong, and then not doing anything other than quoting your own repetitive mind control in order to support that assertion.

Ron Paul will not save you. No politician can. You need to save yourselves.

Associating Batman with Paul is a monumental insult to the character. Batman stands for personal responsibility and individual sovereignty, among other things. Ron Paul, on the other hand, is someone who you want to act as your enabler and surrogate father, because of your desperate craving to avoid having to engage in individual responsibility or initiative, yourselves.

You do realize that Batman wanted the people to feel self-empowered but was also hoping Harvey Dent would be able to use his political power to further stop criminal activity, right? Yes, people should stand up for themselves. Ron Paul is the exact President for that position. He believes each person has rights and deserves true Liberty. He wants to reduce the Federal Government. Just check out his interview from today. FOX can't fathom what he's saying...

So Ron Paul in a sense is both Batman and Harvey Dent. He wants people to believe in themselves and he's the politician leading the way. Thanks for helping us clear that up!
