You will never find the stuff I watch on youtube.

Also I was stabbed in the eye with a pencil on the school bus in the 7th grade. I was hospitalized for almost 2weeks.

There you go, you think you can conquer that by watching it happen to other people or even making it happen to other people. You exemplify how they make us violent to others our political or national leaders are violent to us first.

Sorry I don't even remember typing it like that in the original post.(I was in a rush) I don't enjoy watching these videos. Its an addiction just like coming to ATS everyday. I'm really just interested in whats going on around the world. I don't know why I do it I just do.

Also I'm 21 and I'm perfectly normal and a very nice/gullible funny person in real life.

I don't think anything about it like that, I simply just like to know whats happening everywhere. And violent videos don't lie. Unlike all the ufo and other crap I see on here all the time.

I don't enjoy watching these types of things its just the fact of knowing whats happening around the world that keeps me interested.

dude - at one point you saw everything and after that (daily routine) its not the "information" anymore...like i said - watching is an act of participation...read a book about violence and stuff...like this:
www.gwu.edu... and tell me its the same like watching stuff..(and i posted really really havy literature)

watch this @ 35m (psychologist explains it very well...)

Yeah man, but if you never watched any of these types of videos than how the hell would you know? The answer is you wouldn't know and that to me is what drives me to watch this type of stuff.

I do apologize for the way I worded the original post. I was in a hurry cause I accidentally posted before I even typed anything. It made me seem like I enjoyed these types of videos but I actually don't I would just like to know more.

I already posted this but violent videos don't lie to you like these faked ufo videos and false information websites and such. The things that happen in these videos are the real world and that wakes me up more than anything.

How do you know you don't think about it like that. You open your sub-conscience to people and they are going to have a more objective opinion than your subjectiveness.

Don't worry about it. "Violence" is just a matter of perspective. To some people, just raising your voice is an indication of violence. Others love a good slap on the back or punch to make sure everybody's communicating on the same level. Some other people don't count pretend violence, like you see in movies and TV, as real violence.

So big deal. If you go too far, there are all kinds of laws and well-paid enforcement officers to show you exactly where that line was you crossed.

violence is for me musically inspiring. i like to write lyrics encompassing battle. one thing about violence that i enjoy is when in horror stories as masses of demonic creatures surround the main character and his/her entourage with only a few surviving and the fear overtakes them to the point of almost insanity when as in stories of battle of any era violence is almost craved by both parties. one thing about hisorical accounts of violence is the era in which vlad tsepis reigned. a forest of corpses in the wake of a vengeful ruler. this martyr was so grotesque to anybody happening upon this monolith grave almost stops my own breath. it also makes me think of what would happen if vlad tsepis ruled in the 20th 21st century. same m.o. but modern technology. would he experiment with d.n.a. to make monsters of mammoth size to do his bidding? we can only find out by traveling to another dimension where this possibility took place

I don't like watching violent videos. But, I am horribly addicted to violent video games. The more gore the more I love it, don't know why really.

Plain and simple its one thing to read about it, then you let your mind wonder and you end up twisting the story. But if you see a video about it, you know exactly what happened and you don't need somebody telling "their side of the story". It just cuts from beginning to end with no real in between. (which I hate)

Another reason would be; knowing any moment could be your last and it really makes you judge things in certain situations with a better understanding. Some people need this more than anything in their life because I see WAY to many people out their just wondering around completely oblivious to anything. (which irritates me)

you didnt spend a secound to look at the book...there is no imagination needed...and like i said at one point you saw everything and daily routine is a total different situation then watching some videos...

no i will not push your addiction...and i see you really are not watching for variation (information)...because some things you cannot find on ordinary violence sites...ogrish and stuff is not the real deal to gather information

Whats up everyone my names Dustin and I'm addicted to violence.

I wake up everyday and check all the crazy websites that feature violent/crazy things people all around the world do! I love seeing new violent videos or death videos or anything that involves violence on these websites. I enter these websites sometimes 3-4 times a day, just to check for updates. The things I watch are car/motorcycle accidents, and anything that involves people fighting/beating each other in a brutal fashion.

I was just wondering if their was anyone else out there that feels the same as me. If so I'd like to talk about what kinda websites he/she visits. Please don't post these websites on this site, just PM me!

Thanks.

I'm not addicted to it but I must admit, after a friend conned me into watching the Daniel Pearl beheading video years ago (pretending he'd seen a video and that it was cool then admitting after that he'd never actually seen it because he was too scared while giggling the entire time I saw that footage) then yeah, I too had a short period of looking at those kinds of sites.

Mainly out of curiosity.

Nothing wrong with curiosity and doesn't make you a potential serial killer, plus personally I was curious about seeing people hurt or killed in various ways.

Last time I saw something like that was the Saddam Hussein execution.
