Today I tried to summon my spirit guides through meditating (i did it twice) i used this audio exercise and i did what it told me to do (thinking of a safe place walking through a forest that kind of thing) and when it got to the point to summon them well the first time i did it it was at first a floating ball of light and trying not to let my imagination take over i just let it happen naturally and it took the form of a wolf that looks like this www.fws.gov... Except it has a blue bandanna wrapped around its neck it could talk and he told me his name was Lionheart and after 1 or 2 hours i tried to find out more about his name and breed while doing so i came across this story about wolves (it was fiction) and it was called Blackhearts's smile.

I thought it was strange due to the similarity with the names. After a few hours i decided to do it again and the same thing happened during the meditation except this time my second spirit guide took the form of a Gothic female (i don't think i ever heard of a Gothic spirit guide before) she told me her name is Iris which means the Greek goddess of the rainbow and then (this is where it gets weird) Shortly after it started to rain and then after it stopped a rainbow appeared does anyone have anything to tell me about this maybe some advice or maybe its just my imagination

You will get many different answers based on individual beliefs, but here is mine.

I have had numerous experiences which I believe to be from a guiding spirit, whether you call that a spirit guide, a higher power, your higher self, etc. In my experience, the form it takes in your mind (a wolf for example) can change and is more dependent on your own beliefs and experiences, and the intensity of your connection to higher (versus lower) vibrational energy.

The most important criteria, IMHO, is not to get sidetracked by giving it a label of one thing over another - but concentrate on how you felt. In other words, if the experience was peaceful and encouraging - great; if it was anxious and less positive, discard it. In my own life, I experienced numerous "coincidences" such as you are describing with the rainbow - and I ultimately realized that, for me, they were validations of my experience. Whether they are validations or coincidences for you is something that you can only discover in your own time, experience, and heart. Keep your mind, eyes and heart open and you will discover your own answers. Keep searching - it sounds like you are on the right track.

You can always pick a different forum by selecting the 'forums' tab - which is about mid-way on the main menu tab across the top, and then pick 'new thread.' Also, don't forget the "search" function - you can many times find previous threads very helpful.

I wholeheartedly suggest you peruse around the differing forums - make sure you scroll all the way down to see all their icons. You might be intrigued to find others you will become a regular on.
