I support the creation of a Palestinian state with one exception - get rid of hamas. Hamas has been and always will be a destabalizing entity on this topic. Being Gaza is uncer the control of Hamas, and not the West Bank, the issues are no longer mutually exclusive.

How about Israel stops the settlements and pulls back to mandated borders instead of continuing (to this day) with more settlement announcements??

You pro-Israelis seem to dodge this issue but then you've had decades to learn how to ignore the obvious..
That's that Israel NEVER had any intention of settling for what it was given..

Which has absolutely nothing to do with Hamas, since Fatah is in charge in the West Bank. Hamas shouldn't be taking up and picking a fight for an area they don't control. As I stated many many times now, Hamas has NO intrest in the welfare of the Palestinians in Gaza. They use that as an excuse to kill Israelism, which forces retaliation. Since Hamas doesnt respect International law (as you and others throw at Israel) since they use Schools, Mosques, Hospitals and heavily populated areas to launch the attack from becuas they know an Israeli response will frive up the body count.

Hamas has stated that, on the record....

Secondly, Israel said they are open to land for peace and Hamases response was no, because their goal and charter is to wipe Israel off the Map. Why bother to negotiate with a group bent on your destruction? Why relinquish control of occupied land if the end result will be the establishment of a hostile nation within spitting distance of ISraeli territory?

Actually I beleive they would have been fine, had the Arab countries not banded together and continually attacked Israel trying to wipe them out. In that case, I dont blame Israel for seizing as well, as annexing land.

Maybe the Arabs should think twice before starting a war they couldnt finish. They certainly have no room to cry about lost territory when they started the mess in the first place.

Man you pro Israelis really need to read up on recent history..

The Zionists drew up the plans for Israel..
They started "The Mess" you refer to.
Rothschilds were heavily involved..
The Arabs had NO say in the matter and were against the plan from day one..
Their stance has NEVER changed..

There is so much BS in this thread, especially from the pro-Israeli side of the fence.
How hard is it to do some research before replying? Or are you all deliberately trying to keep people asleep by spreading misinformation and diverting attention from the real issues and arguments?

I remember, not so long ago, reading an article about Israel and her strategy which made it very clear that Israel was investing HEAVILY on spreading "information" (misinformation) through the mainstream-media and the Internet to make people "more aware of the Israeli struggle" (Pretty much by painting the Opposing Parties black to gain support for Israels' unjust cause and to keep the majority of the people blind)
