K it dosn't get a whole lot plainer than this.

Look at the ticker text beneath the anchor. I think the words HUGE HIDDEN might be trying to convey something here. Just say'in.

The thing that piques my curiousity is that mainstream news has hopped onto the Nibiru/Elenin/2012 bandwagon. It can only mean one of two things:

Either Nibiru will be visible with the naked eye soon and can't be covered up any longer

Or CNN is trying to cash in on the Nibiru/2012 craze.

Go to www.google.com/sky/

In the search type in mercury. You will see a little devil sign where mercury supposedly is. Pull you screen over to the right slightly......and there ya go!!! nibiru plain as day!! You don't even have to zoom. To give you an idea how close this monster planet is to us.......now type Jupiter into the search. You have to zoom "6" times to see it!

Sorry you need to click the "infrered" button on the right of the screen to see it.

OMG! There is a large star-like object close to the planet Mercury!

(It's called the Sun.)

Actually, the star in question is a carbon star called CW LEONIS, which some say is moving very fast either toward us or away from us. We can't tell until there is gravimetric disturbances of the inner and outer planets of our solar system. Interesting...

Abstract Information:

Herschel PACS and SPIRE images have been obtained over a 30$^prime$ $times$ 30$^prime$ area around the well-known carbon star CW Leo (IRC +10 216). An extended structure is found in an incomplete arc of $sim$22$^prime$ diameter, which is cospatial with the termination shock due to interaction with the interstellar medium (ISM) as defined by Sahai & Chronopoulos from ultraviolet GALEX images. Fluxes are derived in the 70, 160, 250, 350, and 550 $mu $m bands in the region where the interaction with the ISM takes place, and this can be fitted with a modified black body with a temperature of $25pm 3$ K. Using the published proper motion and radial velocity for the star, we derive a heliocentric space motion of 25.1 km s-1. Using the PACS and SPIRE data and the analytical formula of the bow shock structure, we infer a de-projected standoff distance of the bow shock of $R_{0} = (8.0 pm 0.3) times 10^{17}$ cm. We also derive a relative velocity of the star with respect to the ISM of $(106.6 pm 8.7)/sqrt{n_{rm ISM}}$ km s-1, where n $_{rm ISM}$ is the number density of the local ISM.

Key words: circumstellar matter - stars: AGB and post-AGB - stars: carbon - stars: mass-loss - stars: individual: CW Leo

Link to Paper:

The one thing I find which is of concern is they can't tell if it's moving away from us or toward us.

Before say something like this why dont you go look at it instead of trying to debunk kwhat you have no idea you are talking about???

OP, I think you should step back a second and realize that Google Sky is NOT real time, and the image that you are looking at was processed a long time BEFORE Nibiru was to be any where near the solar system.

Dude...get a grip, will you? You are making ATS look real bad....

I have read this thread, and really believe I should point out something. This is taken almost verbatim from the earth-issues.com website.
I personally do not know much about this subject, but I do think the OP should site his/her sources. In this case I think its the above stated website.
The directions in the beginning paragraph are almost the same just paraphrased.
Earth-issues.com

August 25th, 2011 | Author: Earth-Issues
Google Sky:
www.google.com/sky/
Step One: After you go to “Google Sky” you will see “outer space” and the blackness of stars.
Step Two: In the search bar at the upper left corner of the Google Sky screen, type “Mercury” and press Enter. Again you will see only the blackness of outer space with a little devil like symbol for the planet “Mercury”.
Step Three: Next, find the little button in the upper right of your screen that says “Infrared”. Click that button. The screen will turn to a hazy reddish colour.
You can now see NIBIRU, in the upper left quadrant of your computer screen. Please note that you did not have to press the + “Zoom In” slider buttons at all to see this monster. This view is from the perspective of Planet Earth. If you hover your cursor over the black ambassador of death, you will see the “coordinates” on the bottom of your screen. They are:
9 hours / 47 minutes / 59.0 seconds / 13 degrees / 16 feet / 19.3 inches
If you want a feel for how close it is to earth, I recommend you search on Jupiter. After doing so you will again see nothing but black space. However, to see Jupiter you will have to click the + “Zoom In” ladder slider about 6 times. Think about that. In order for you to SEE Jupiter, you have to ZOOM IN about 6 times.
How many times did you have to zoom in to see Nibiru? None

IDK Cal, I'm not even saying this isn't presenting the possibility of fear mongering only. I don't see anything that is indicative of it being TYCHE that is refered to here. Why wouldn't they say TYCHE ? Is that name taboo now too ?

He refers to an article in the British newspaper The Independent. Here is that article:

www.independent.co.uk...

Up telescope! Search begins for giant new planet
Tyche may be bigger than Jupiter and orbit at the outer edge of the solar system

If you grew up thinking there were nine planets and were shocked when Pluto was demoted five years ago, get ready for another surprise. There may be nine after all, and Jupiter may not be the largest.

The hunt is on for a gas giant up to four times the mass of Jupiter thought to be lurking in the outer Oort Cloud, the most remote region of the solar system. The orbit of Tyche (pronounced ty-kee), would be 15,000 times farther from the Sun than the Earth's, and 375 times farther than Pluto's, which is why it hasn't been seen so far.

But scientists now believe the proof of its existence has already been gathered by a Nasa space telescope, Wise, and is just waiting to be analysed.

All CNN was doing was reporting on someone else's reporting. This is not "confirmation." It's the same old stuff from Matese and Whitmire.

I don't believe that's all CNN is up too by a damn site. It really can't be that innocent.
This is from google search results.

NIBIRU FOUND! CNN NEWS BRIEFS. - YouTube

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fq7DKgRp67o

SOMETIMES THEY NEED TO LIE TO TELL THE TRUTH! BE THE FIRST TO KNOW ABOUT NIBIRU DEVELOPMENTS.Brown dwarfs, hot

This is proof that CNN reran the same clip that first aired back in Feb. There is another one of these such results
for the 15th of Aug as well. That explains why I comfirmed, seeing this on CNN, just a few days ago. As time always moves faster than I percieve it to.

Now, when did nasa shut down/turn off, it's neowise project and collect the data ? April if I'm not mistaken. To sum it up, CNN ran this story, before most of us, ever knew anything about, the wise project. All the way back in Feb. And for sum reason, ran the same news piece, two days in a row, a little over a week ago.

This is proof, not only that the media lies to us and can't be trusted, especially concerning events like the one the may be setting up here and also 911. But they are guilty of fearmongering and extreme propaganda, limited only by the audacity, of the cabal of super rich puppetmasterss/owners. That very obviously, want to control everything right down to what you think, so they can know, what you think.

They brought back this clip and ran it again, only after enough time had gone by, that they knew people wouldn't remember it. Once again, they didn't count on this record being attainable, thanks to the internet. So it looks like someone, has to much ass to keep all of it covered up, if you ask me.

Hence, we have the people in the know like Phage and Xcalbur and DJ and to many others to mention, who arn't subject to the crap that is being spoon fed to the common public. So after awhile these people that ARE in the know . Have got to be thinking everyboidy's loosing their fargone minds.
A calamity that TPTB are at least able to sit back and LTFAO at. If not use to some advantage some how some where. Keep in mind Dr.Carol Rosens teatmony as to what Werner Von Braun told her way back in the early seventies. She spoke of these lies that were coming and the object of them being. To weaponise space.

Yeah, I know that this post is talking about CW Leonis, but as an astronomer, I know that the only time we can see Mercury from the Earth is when it is transiting across the disk of the Sun, making Mercury appear as a tiny black dot. We can't see it at other times because the Sun's too bright and too close.

... and to other posters, CW Leonis (also referred to as IRC +10216) is NOT even remotely within our Solar System. It's distance from us is 390 (or more) light years, which is equivalent to: 229,281,000,000,000 miles from us.The radius of our solar system is only 3,674,490,973 miles, so CW Leonis is 623,980 times the radius of the solar system away.

Now if you go watch the movie Independence Day you can see aliens invading the world....

Ah classic Boncho

If you say so, I believe you. I am just thinking the thread and the article are Very similar. That needed to be pointed out whether you used the site for reference or not.
No offense was intended. Just an observation.

I have trouble believing this.... Look, if you are suggesting that some how, even the most amateur of astronomers have missed something as obvious as what you are pointing at ( Even though you suck at giving directions) then you are mistaken.

Do some research, I bet you this thing is indexed and you can find public information about it....

Go ahead, do the research.

So we have different people claiming it is this star or that star. Proof positive that no one really knows wtf it is, IMO

Hey! I really like your enthusiasm but that really isn't the much debated Nibru... If is was out on show like that for the world to see, there really would be mass panic. If Nibiru is here and it's visible it will be spotted however that doesn't mean it doesn't exist... !

No offense taken. My reasoning behind even searching for Mercury this morning was because I haven't seen it lately. I'd heard it was gone.......I didn't believe that, so I went searching for it and clicked on the infrared and discovered this "winged" object.
