K it dosn't get a whole lot plainer than this.

Ah yes, they are speaking of Tyche in this video. Interesting clip, I have not seen this before, they speak as if it had been found not as if they were still looking.......

IDK Cal, I'm not even saying this isn't presenting the possibility of fear mongering only. I don't see anything that is indicative of it being TYCHE that is refered to here. Why wouldn't they say TYCHE ? Is that name taboo now too ?

Also the ticker text is telling you something right there. HUGE HIDDEN object in space ? WTF is that?

He refers to an article in the British newspaper The Independent. Here is that article:

www.independent.co.uk...

Up telescope! Search begins for giant new planet
Tyche may be bigger than Jupiter and orbit at the outer edge of the solar system

If you grew up thinking there were nine planets and were shocked when Pluto was demoted five years ago, get ready for another surprise. There may be nine after all, and Jupiter may not be the largest.

The hunt is on for a gas giant up to four times the mass of Jupiter thought to be lurking in the outer Oort Cloud, the most remote region of the solar system. The orbit of Tyche (pronounced ty-kee), would be 15,000 times farther from the Sun than the Earth's, and 375 times farther than Pluto's, which is why it hasn't been seen so far.

But scientists now believe the proof of its existence has already been gathered by a Nasa space telescope, Wise, and is just waiting to be analysed.

All CNN was doing was reporting on someone else's reporting. This is not "confirmation." It's the same old stuff from Matese and Whitmire.

Then I'm leaning towards fearmongering on the part of CNN.
They could have at least used a "?" at the end of their ticker text.

I'm leaning towards a scientifically ignorant reporter caring more about getting as many viewers as possible by being sensational than researching and trying to convey accurate and informative news

What is at 69 4' 42.1" it is quite huge: is that the sun? I put in sun and it zooms way out and I can't find it. How do I see what each thing is on this map? Is this large thing the milky way galaxy? It looks like it. I see the blue spot but it is outside that area. I am not good at astronmy at all but this fascinates me.

Your post suggests incompetence ? Something CNN isn't known for and seems highly unlikely in the midst of such high power resource.

Xcal
I thought Tyche was a planet ?

It is. However, many of the news reports I read regarding Tyche seemed to also get it confused with Nemesis and would refer to it also as a brown dwarf.

That seems very likely. I just noticed the small print text underneath hidden huge, does mention the word planet.

So you get a cookie.

I think its time we stop with the Nibiru fantasies. There's much bigger fish to fry.

whoa, i just checked it out...it's definitely not a comet...you can't miss it as soon as you turn on infrared...it has some of the Nibiru distinctions...like the dark spot in the middle of the object...and possibly a couple other smaller bodies around it. "Elenin" was supposed to have passed by Mercury the other day...maybe this sky map was from days ago possibly?? either way, nice find OP! if it's not what some think it is, then what is it??

So when I typed jupiter I saw a hugh blue thing, is that niburu? or is it elenin?

I think you will find that the "Celestial Body" they thought they found back in 1983 actually turned out to be nothing more than a distant galaxy.
Planet X'ers use this story far too often as proof but it's just of case of not understanding the data back in 83.
Could Nasa have buried this? Sure, but personally I don't believe they have on this occasion and it's was probably just a way to sell the newspaper

If you go to google and type in the coordinates 9hr 47m and 13, you will see that people have been discussing this object for years. Too bad our own Government doesn't ever really tell us the truth, we only get what they are willing to feed us.

Image of Nibiru? Cool Stuff.

I'm new here, but thought I'd provide a clip of the screen showing what the article poster is claiming to be Nibiru. Pretty cool pic. I know absolutely nothing about this topic, and was actually referred to the site by a friend. If this is something important I'd love to know more. Otherwise, cool pic.

Btw ... I will remove the image from my server at my discretion (soon). If you want it, either follow the poster's instructions to see it yourself, clip it, and keep it, or simply save this image. But it is pretty cool to see it "appear" out of nowhere when you click the "infrared" view.

Have fun.

Hoax.

For those of you who don't know, using Google Sky to find an uncharted planet or comet is like using Google Earth to watch a parade.

Well if you go to Benton Harbor michigan in Bing maps you can see the parade.
No kiddn. Google was updated about 4 months ago but Bimng maps

Based on the news ticker in the broadcast this story aired at the beginning of 2011 (Jan or Feb). Is it really possible that an object as far out as the broadcast claims could be as close as many say Nibiru is now? I am completely unaware of any of these things. I'm just curious, and am interested in an explanation.

Having looked at the coordinates that is provided the following can be stated:

Constellation: Cancer
Object seen and mentioned is a star called Nahn.

Looking at the star charts and then right at what is mentioned that is what I would say it is.

The star is part of a binary system, and chances are what is being seen is one of the 2. Based off of the way the pics look, it is showing the dopplar effect in full swing, and the star is currently moving away from the earth, giving it a red shift look.

I look at it two ways yes there are other things going on in this world and our country that demands more attention than a hypothetical planet. The other way is if Nibiru turns out to be true then our fish will be fried for us.
