Misleading title.

There is no double CME, nor is there a CME at all.

There were two small coronal holes (SDO called them a single hole) with solar wind streaming from them.

There's now a new one and earth will pass through the solar stream around August 27-28th.

No doubt the fear mongers will be all over this too...

That's because you didn't read the whole chapter, here you go:

Luke 21:11
And great earthquakes shall be in diverse places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Great earthquakes- some will argue that we've always had earthquakes which of course is true, but the historical records indicate we've been getting an increasing number of big ones in recent years.

Famines- Africa is being largely ignored by the MSM, but the drought and famine there has reached crisis proportions with 12 million people being affected.

Pestilences- See this article and this article about a rather frightening development on this front, a beetle that is being declared the "world's most feared pest".

Fearful sights and great signs from heaven- this passage isn't referring to the "third heaven" where God resides, but rather the "first heaven" and possibly the "second heaven" which is the Bible term for the earth's atmosphere and space respectively. Solar flares might fall under this category as well as things like the Elenin hype, but I'll leave that for ya'll to decide. Personally I don't think this particular part of the passage has been fulfilled yet.

Christians believe no such thing. That was the "geocentric model", it was a belief held by the ancient Greeks. It was eventually embraced by many societies and peoples and by the Roman Cathoilc Church until the 1500's, but the belief was based on the Greek writings, it has no basis in scripture.

If your heart is right with Christ then what does it matter. I mean end of days stuff , no matter what this universe offers God is greater and will deliver us thru it. So revelations and end of days to a real Child of God is mute. If REVELATIONS FRIGHTENS YOU THEN CHECK YOUR HEART. If we abide in him and him in us then all other things really do not matter. My true death came at Calvary, after being raised in newness of life death has no more dominion over me. So bring on the End of days! I think this subject is interesting due to we are watching things transpire that is out of our control and that is awesome!
