Has the color spectrum shifted?

Colors look brighter to me, brighter but almost dead somehow, kinda like im a computer calculating the color spectrum and something just changed on my hardware...or software for that matter.

Maybe he only was looking at your truck during the darker parts of the day, or perhaps maybe a shaded area. I would have liked more examples of spectrum changes than the one you gave because if one of my coworkers told me that I really wouldn't think much of it........but thats just me!
