I think he is trying to get the 'Einstien' look to make people think he is a genious! It is like that in several shows I have seen him in. It's like, this dude is crazy smart with hair like Einstien. Crazy yea, and he definatley comes up with so interesting theories.

I am happy to see everyone laughing as hard as me about this guy. He is very entertaining. Usually he starts out with very logical explanations, and then BAM! Bat # crazy for the rest of your viewing experience.

The worst part is, is that he has the same expression and level of seriousness the whole time. I watch a show with him speaking, get hooked, and then I don't know what happens because he throws me into lala land.

it makes the show hard to watch around others. He can be embarrassing...and hurts the credibility of the shows more than help.

If I ever watch these kind of shows around my Fiancee I usually give her a disclaimer on this guy: "he has some good thoughts but then he goes crazy-off-the-wall; just wait, you'll see. Watch for it!" (and also something along the lines of how the hell is this guy on tv? And "I like this show but this guy is a crazy, watch out....he goes from logical to aliens in a half second") Enjoy

Believe in him or not (like most of you, I'm somewhere in the middle), you've got admit he's the real deal, not someone who's just riding the wave of populist alien-historical theory.

I agree, I like the guy because of his passion. He loves that stuff, that's for sure. He's quite well-informed too. But man, does he ever jump to some wild conclusions. He offers great evidence but then presents a conclusion that has only a tenuous connection to the evidence. He's pretty good about explaining that the conclusion is his own opinion or belief though.

EDIT TO ADD: now that I've read the rest of the thread I see I could have just posted "yeah, what adraves said!"

i shaved all my hair off except for the front bangs, and then i sculpt it into different shapes, BUT the spikes flow with the contours of my head. i did this about a month ago, and you would not believe how many girls just walk up to me to inqure about my hair.

i have always had hair that elicted comment, but this new joint is really pulling girls in.

the most important aspect of any hair cut, is the BANGS, the front locks. nothing else really matters. that is why you see ultra hot chicks with short hair, but with very very long bangs, and they still have cool hair, because the front hair is long. the back hair is not as important. (i am shaved bald all around!)

i have had long long hair, i have had the shaved front long hair in the back kung fu hair, i have had short spiked hair, i have had long spiked hair. i always screw around with my hair styles.

all i know is, when i watch this show, the first thing i think of when i see this guy is, this guy knows the secret about hair.

my suggestion, go NUTS with your hair. get any kind of any haircut you want. go abstract, because not many people have it.

it sounds goofy, but if you want chicks rolling up on you just to talk to you about your hair style, and i mean everywhere you go, then get some good hair.

Thank you for the edit!! He does love the stuff, he is smart, he has some kind of agenda, and he probably has some good motivation. It makes the show very entertaining. He presents things so logical to a point but then makes sensational leaps. It helps the show be entertaining and controversial, but at the same time having only half the show being logical makes anyone who watched it feel like a fool.

Sensitive subjects need to be approached delicately with simple words and explanations, not like a raving mad man with Einstein hair! I Used to like shows with him, but it always starts very orderly and structured and turns into something so un-scientific by the end that it hurts to watch.

Maybe that is a point for this show. Read a few ATS posts out loud to you family members and tell me you are not ashamed to "speak out". Maybe he is hurting the movement on purpose. It is easy enough to do when one understands both sides of an augment.

I'd bet archaeologist could find some really interesting things in his hair. Bet we'd find some answers to some of these AA questions hiding in there.

I'd hate to sit behind this guy in the movie theater. I once had to sit behind a lady with Marge Simpson hair - I kid you not, it was even blue - at a baseball game. Paid a bunch of money for good seats and had to try and look around that, what a pain.

I agree, we laugh at him sometimes, both for his physical style attributes and his viewpoint, but he puts it all on the line, expresses his belief of what the truth is or could be (hint: there is no universal truth) and most importantly, whether your believe what he says or not, HE GETS PEOPLE THINKING AND TALKING ABOUT TABOO AND PARANORMAL SUBJECTS, and I think that is something we should be happy about.

He might be a bit kooky, but he's clearly one of us, doing the best he can, and getting the subjects some well deserved air time and attention.

I bet he even has an account here, and he's probably someone you'd never guess. Maybe he's Phage, lol. Wouldn't you lose your little mind if that turned out to be true? I know I would.
