Progress cargo spaceship reportedly falls in eastern Russia

rt.com

The Russian cargo spaceship Progress M-12M has reportedly crashed to Earth in eastern Russia, Interfax news agency quotes a source in the space industry.
Earlier it was reported that the vehicle had failed to reach its target orbit on Wednesday after it had been launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

Specialists are now investigating what could have caused the incident, the first to happen with Russian cargo spaceships in the last 30 years. The Progress vessel was to deliver over 2.6 tonnes of cargo to the International Space Station (ISS), including water, food, oxygen, fuel

Oh, oh!
Couldn't help thinking....and this is a conspiracy site after all....was Major Ed Dames right about his prediction. I don't believe that remote viewing or predictions should be taken word for word. But this just breaking news on RT, and the recent EQ events which people here on ATS are trying to join up the dots with the 37 latitude, which is something else Dames suggested in relation to crop circles of all things! He claimed that crop circles were appearing between the two 37 latitudes, and for people to be safe they should stay within these latitudes. That does not make sense to me as the majority of the world's population lives within these latitudes.
Anyway, I am not very 'au fait' with space stuff maybe somebody else with more astronomy/astrophysics brain cells can explain a bit more?

What does remote viewing have to do with this??

Im confused. Could you link me to what you are talking about?

Sometimes things just happen or get lost. Not everything is a conspiracy.

space is risky business russia

and you want to make a space hotel ?

good luck

just imagine if that cargo ship was full of passengers to the new space hotel...

why do we foolishly think were ready for commercial space flight when we barley have mastered low earth orbits

Probably nothing. But the you tube link will take you to Ed Dames and what he said.
Plus I never said this was a conspiracy, just that this incident reminded me about the Ed Dames stuff.
I have asked for more scientific info about this particular cargo ship. What are the implications to the crew up inthe ISS for example.

Hmmm dunno buddy-who put the first animal and then man in orbit?
Ah yes Russia.

They can give NASA a run for their money IMO,especially now Obama has gutted NASA.
Which I think is real sad.

That does sound weird. US ended shuttle program end then very reliable space platform fails to do what it did so good for so long. Not to mention that it happens after Russian satellite failure. Very weird coincidence.

Reading all available updates, including directly from Russian media sources…looks like a malfunction?

Following are the updates:

The Soyuz rocket soared right on time from Kazakhstan, and everything seemed to be going perfectly until just over five minutes into the flight. The third-stage ignited, but the rocket commanded the engine to shut down because of a problem, said NASA's space station program manager, Mike Suffredini.

Thank you for that. Seems a shame after 30 years of no mishaps then all of a sudden a couple just in the last week. Just glad they were un-manned!

Have to agree with that, johnsmanville is talking through his nether regions, anyway he is gone..back to space I presume/hope.

I'm not so sure that Obama is unique when it comes to NASA either,

www.ideastream.org...

and he did go and talk to the NASAnians about it.

Private space flight needs to happen soon if we want space to continue being within reach.
and who said the russians need to learn from nasa, nasa havent had any accidents?

when theres the virgin flight to the microsoft space centre with a hilton on the moon, then space will be safe enough for people.
