Guys, it's pretty simple...

People who say they're conservative are bound to not collect as much information or pursue a fantastic answer because they shut it out due to their belief systems or principles.

Male Vs Female.

Since liberals are so brilliant, I propose that we forgo picture voter ID and instead require all potential voters to solve one 8th grade Algebra problem before given a ballot. Since all you secular socialists are so brilliant this shouldn't create a problem.

I could be wrong but I doubt I am.
I am not trying to make the point that liberals are better both liberals and conservatives are politicians full of foibles.
But republicans or conservatives are just as guilty of this as liberals and democrats are.
I don't think this is a one party issue.

a better statement would be as follows:


"If our representatives are so smart, then why don't they know what's in a bill until after they vote for it
and if we the people are so smart then why do we keep falling for these snake oil politicians and their con job?"

I think the current state of our nation is proof that Liberals are idiots. There is a big difference between intelligence and intellectualism. Clearly the vast majority of Liberals are not intellectual, in other words, they are incapable of seeing the logical end of their ideas and policies, because if they could they would know from the start that they will fail miserably. Liberals seem to think that they are more intelligent than most because of their academic pedigree, but clearly all the Harvard education in the world doesn't stop Liberals from completely ignoring the most basic of economic principals, among other basic political and social concepts. Most liberals are merely academic, without any practical experience in anything. By the way lefties, before you start saying "Bush this and Bush that", Bush is not a Conservative.

I think Psychology Today's motto is: If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull****

That article reads like an opinion piece. Psychologists are liberal? Get the **** out.

Agree agree agree. I think a more appropriate term for liberals would be "pseudo-intellectual." These people parrot the things they read and use big words to make themselves seem more intelligent than they really are. Not once do they ever form an original thought or opinion. Everyone knows a clown like this.

Smarter or not, one day we're going to have to deal with eachother and we're going to have to deal with the future of humanity. We won't be able to sit in our economic powerhouse raping other countries until we see fit. One day we will all have to decide the best way to ease into a one world government where we can all be governed equally, where everyone alive is taught of evolution and the birth of stars. Until then we have to deal with greedy politicians and those that support them. Don't vote if you know what's good for humanity. We need to make it understood that we understand humanity can't continue living like it is. We will not survive very long if the nations of man are separate and war-like.

Really, did you know that most Creationists have to hide their beliefs in order to get their degrees in the scientific field? You're blackballed if you use science and God or Intelligent Design in the same conversation. Since I knew it would be an uphill battle to get a degree in that field, although I ACTd out of both Biologies (forget CLEP), I wouldn't get into those programs for much less than being threatened with death.

Can you offer evidence of this? As I scientist, you're not gonna get away with pushing any idea without actual factual basis. Whether that's God, or anything else. You're beliefs in private don't affect you're scientific credibiliy as long as they aren't hindering your judgement. You're also gonna be for the first time in your life, a minority amongst peers. you're believes won't be the big tough guy on the block. Feeling oppressed by that, is like an overly spoiled kid feeling mistreated because he's not being as spoiled as he's used to.

When scientists are offered to partake in a poll about their religion, your saying that most believers still deny their beliefs for that poll? Even though the 5% that do don't get any grief for it?

If a Creationist claims to have been backballed, then their accusation would be suspect, so I couls go to all these creationists sites and pull up all sorts of crud, but it still won't do any good. Considering that it is standard practice to sit in on lectures from these future scientists under pseudonym until after they graduate, there's a reason they do all this.

Go read the actual emails mentioned in Expelled: No intelligence Allowed. They're still up on the internet. I bothered to look up the accusations, and read the paperwork because taking a documentary at face value is not enough. These aren't Creationists, but they're treated with the same behavior. The satirical documentary also goes into how the man ostricised took it to court--the decision was ruled in his favor. In the emails, the attitudes are apparant. This is probably the easiest of the whole mess to verify.

Besides, I'd have to go and hunt these guys down for personal testimony, and copies of their personal documents. While it could be done, it's really more a whole topic in and of itself. And it's not worth my time, or yours.

I, a conservative, spend too much of my day researching things. I am overly well-read--I also grasp the things I read fairly quickly, and I come from a family that does this as well--some of them better than I do, most of them as conservative or more conservative. Are there things I'm still vague about because I haven't given myself the time to look things up? Yes. It's called having priorities. But I generally can back up what I say/believe, otherwise I wouldn't say/believe it. Whether or not I take the time to explain it to anyone else is another story altogether. I'm not proned to thinking I need to hold your hand and research things for you.

It is nice to note that most children below 18 are not even remotely conservative--even in the Red states. Anyone who knows those kids is that they don't have enough life experience to understand the need to VERIFY what they hear. Just ask a teacher.

It is NEVER enough to stop at just researching things. Most data comes with conclusions and rhetoric. You've got to be able to process the whole of the information, seperate data from conclusions and propaganda, and dismiss the irrelevant, every single freaking time. It is taxing. It gets beyond boring. And even when you do all this, some snot-nosed kid tells you that you're closed-minded and don't research (when they didn't either), just because they happen to disagree with you. The whole of humanity is simply this stupid.

I didn't finish, and I deliberately failed 2-3 classes, and almost never studied, yet still have a higher GPA. God, I hated school.

But seriously, GPA means nothing to the real world. 4.0 and never worked a day in your life vs. a 2.5 with 5 years experience in the field? The latter generally gets the job. Put it to you this way FedEx was graded a "C" in college--just barely. Yet look how it performs in the real world, as a business.

Liberals are vastly more intelligent because they don't suffer from the handicap of not being able to think for themselves.

In a way, I feel sorry for them...they always remind me of a dog at the pound that's turned vicious and has to be put down - the dog could change it's behavior and be more friendly but, alas, it won't do that, so it will be put down. Republicans are similar in the way that they constantly support idiots who aren't acting in their own best interests, but because the people they're voting for are powerful, they identify more with them (because they want to BE them) than with their peers.

The republican party is rapidly becoming infected with the political version of rabies - As their cruelty and stupidity grow daily, they are turning on themselves because the "tea party" has split the whole party right down the middle

Please post the other link to the liberal women. Compare the two together. It makes the conservative women ten times hotter. NO comparison which party has the looks. No wonder why libs are so hateful. They have to wake up and look at themselves in the mirror everyday.

ALl of the U.S. and Europe is a progressive liberal machine going totaly bankrupt and they still scream and profess inteilliegnce.These people are so self centered with hypocrisy it is down right frightening.True conservatives would have never went inot the Iraq war unless they knew it was a threat like Adolf Hitler became.They also would have never have gone this far in debt ever if they truely valued conservatism.Progressive massive governments make everything sound pretty and nice when in reailty the real world can be a terrible awful evil place to live in.They did this same garbage with Adolf Hitler before He became very powerful.

I think its more like almost everyone is dumb, and fighting over the same double **** sided coin makes you dumb.
