Saying or doing anything negative, regardless of reason or intent, to a black man is racist according to the OP.

I don't the TP 'ers are racist. I do think they are a strange collection of most very ignorant citizens who listen too much to conservative talk radio. Those who they have sent to congress are particularly unqualified in terms of education to be there. The others in congress have to deal with them as teachers would children. The country will suffer until these folks are re-educated so they can realize that on Fox and Limbaugh they had been hearing very slick half truths and oops little mistakes and outright lies.

I asked the same thing in the original thread when the word showed up, and TheSword tried to make the same parallel with racism then, too. And TheSword dodged my question then, too. So since he can't seem to back up his own words, I'll help you out.

The original poster of the word said "Chairman ObaMoa", obviously a reference to Chairman Mao of China's Communist Party fame and just misspelled it. But I guess TheSword wasn't...ahem..."quick" enough to catch the reference and somehow thought it was a racist comment.

Can you point out what half-truths and out-right lies Limbaugh has been espousing? Also can you tell me how the Tea Partier candidates are unqualified? I'd hate to see you party to some of these half truths and outright lies.

The Tea Party is racist. It's amusing and actually disturbing they deny it.

Oh well, screw'em. No one pays attention to the insane branch of the United States anyway.

The TPM is not racist. But you just keep on ignoring them. Pay no attention. And just forget what happened in 2010.

Guess Ill do a write up of the "ObaMoa" reference, note to OP, when used it's "ObaMAO". Its a reference to Mao Tse-Tung (Zedong, Zedung, seen many spellings, not sure which one is accurate). Notable for being only a little less notorious than Hitler, as he had many more subjects in China than there were Jews in the world. Supposedly responsible for killing 20+ million Chinese during his reign in China, about what Hitler did during his reign.

Obama's Manufacturing Czar, "kinda agreeing with Mao"

Member of Obama's cabinet, Anita Dunn (Communications Director), espousing Mao as one of her favorite philosophers.

To the OP, Deny Ignorance. All this was available using a little common sense and some quick searches.

So, how can this be then?

I realize that there are a bulk of anti-Tea Party threads on ATS at the moment.

In each thread, the Tea Party faithful come in to defend their "cause" while flinging # at Barack Obama.

But, they forgot one critical thing: leave the hateful language at the door.

This isn't "Tea Party Central". This is Above Top Secret. Why has it turned into the headquarters for the CIA's latest political psyops?

It has become psyops because of threads just like yours. The content of your opening post contains classic examples of push polling also known as psyops depending on who is paying for it and what the motivation is. I'm not calling you an operative cause I have no way of knowing.

Push polling presents what are known as "leading questions" in an attempt to steer outcomes. Your title "Tea Party claims they're not racist" is an example. The question you pretend to be asking is whether or not the Tea Party is a racist organization. A non leading question would be "Is the Tea Party a racist organization."

You further go on to state that the bulk of tea party threads on ATS negative and their supporters use foul language. Says who?

I find it absolutely ludicrous that in this day and age millions of people would join an organization that is racist. It's ridiculous and there is simply no upside in framing any argument for change based on claims that racism is harming the average white person. Of course most tea pArty members are white but then again are most fire fighters, union members, Americans etc.

The only people making such claims are those who may profit. Al Sharpton comes to mind though he has really toned it down in the last few years. Democrats have obviously agreed to use the tactic. In the last week Biden and Maxine Waters have implied the claim.

This kind of psychological divisive negativism would be considered a "psyop" if used by a governmental agency. I believe it is number 17 of 25 in the Illuminatti playbook for global domination.

Here's the problem with using those old tricks. Americans and human beings are waking up to the tactics. When you realize somebody is trying to play you, it's rather insulting. You are assuming that you are so much more intelligent than your intended pigeon that the opposite reaction occurs.

This is precisely why Ron Paul continues to surge in popularity. Democrats and republicans alike as well as the illuminatti continue to use the same old tired plays and are either unwilling or unable to recognize that humankind has had enough of the politics of hatred being used to divide us while we are systematically raped of our resources, dignity and pride.

You pretend to be against hatred but your post is dripping with it. Instead of trying to get rid of hatred by pointing the finger at others, perhaps you should take a look at the other three fingers pointed back at you?

How is "ObaMoa" racist? Did you even bother to put it in context before you made this comment? Mao (sp) was a Chinese dictator. Quoted in speeches by the ideological left as being a great man. Last I heard, Obama had zero Asiatic influence in his DNA.

Stirring the pot like this you come across as the racist one. Like many other ideological left, you call a group of people racist just because they're predominantly white. That, by definition is racism.

On the other hand, he did have one Anita Dunn, Mao admirer, in his employ in the WH, as well as an outright self-avowed communist. These people are not even bothering to cover up their associations any more, although they did can both of them.

See what I did there? I can paint an entire group of people with the brush you just used.

Take your political trolling elsewhere.

hmmm no one pays attention...interesting as Janet Napolitano declared Tea Parties to be extreme and a danger to Homeland Security(what with our Brooks Bros uniforms and all), Nancy Pelosi cried crodile tears of abject worry over the Tea Party influence(that was priceless in my opinion) and now the conglomeration of the Democrat Left is saying the Tea Party is responsible for our country's downgrade of credit.

They must be worried about something, oh yah maybe it's the demise of the Socialist Party!

It appears that the NAACP have made horrid comments about black Tea Party activists

Here’s some ugly racism from militant black leftists the media will never tell you about. Black Tea Party protesters at the NAACP convention in South Central, Los Angeles were called “sellout negros.” The idiot on the video is outraged that blacks would join a group of white people who want to “take them back to slavery.”

After thinking about it for a long time tonight I can’t recall ever attending a Tea Party where “taking black people back to slavery” was on the agenda. If anything we want to free blacks from the bondage of poverty that liberals have kept them in for decades. Unlike the NAACP, the Tea Party believes children of color (and all children) have a right to a good education. We believe poor black and brown kids should learn reading, writing, and math. We think they should be able to leave the disgraceful war zones they call inner city public schools and attend a private school where Obama and Rahm Emanuel send their kids.

www.thehotjoints.com...

And then there's this:

Black members of the tea party movement on Wednesday rejected charges that the group's activists are racist, saying they oppose President Barack Obama because of his policies not his skin color.

That was from an article on msnbc even www.msnbc.msn.com...

THen there's black Tea Party activists rallying AGAINST NAACP
newsone.com...

In fact, according to Borelli, there would be more black people at Tea Party events like Thursday's tax day protests if blacks weren't afraid of the backlash they would receive from family and friends

seems like the TPers are upset about my commentary. Truth hurts, sorry if I struck a cord, but this is how your group is viewed and you folks don't do a damn thing to dispel the notion that your party is littered with racist morons. I know that there are TPers that are along the lines of Ron Paul and those people I have no problem with because we all have similar goals to bring some sanity to this country, but the fact that you guys want to sit here and deny that there's a glut of filth within your movement that subscribes to white nationalism is not only laughable but bloody dishonest.

Bring your attacks. I have no problem laughing at people who cannot stand the truth

I'm a member of the TPM. I believe in their core values of small govt and fiscal responsibility. So you want to call me a racist? What, you think I'm gonna run and hide in fear of you? You think that bothers me, you think I'm gonna betray my core beliefs because you call me a racist?

Go ahead, call me a racist. I laugh at you. Scream at me. I laugh even louder. You don't scare me, you don't change me, YOU DON'T DEFINE ME!!

I don't care about your "views" and I don't care about your lies and I don't care about you.

To squeegee off your heroine Waters, "The Liberals can go straight to Hell".

If what he said is not true then how come no one can supply the list I keep asking for of Teabagger backed politicians who were also NOT GOP. How many times do I need to ask that before one of you amazingly patriotic and well informed "TEA partiers" actually responds. I am more curious why you all keep dancing around this after all the bragging I had to wade through right after the election. You were all so proud of your whopping 34% percent wins and yet now none of you can name one of the people you supported that is not a typical GOPer.

Here's a list of 9 or so....

you're casting a pretty wide net when referring to a large group of people. in that group you will have all sorts with all types of personal mores, likes and dislikes. this can hold true to any group.

i seriously doubt that many groups in america want to be viewed as racist. i've seen televised documentaries with the 'white power' types, showing parade and gathering footage. listening to them speak, they feel they are not racist, they are just proud of their heritage. sure, it looks different to us at home watch the glowing screen.

i saw a YouTube with a chubby well tanned older fellow, looked like he was in the backyard of a really nice Florida home. he was pro Tea Party. he was also spewing racist shiat that was incredibly offensive; in mixed company i think he would have taken a beating.

but i can't judge a group by one loud mouth member.

I believe that Kit and TehSword are terrified and are doing what they can to negate the damage to the already flailing DNC. Their guy is failing, as are their party hacks.

What, you think they are going to try to run on their RECORD of the past 3 years?
That's easy for them -- It's Bush's Fault!!

Obama and the libs need an enemy to hate. They can't discuss issues. They can't run on their nonexistent achievements so they must spread HATE for a common enemy. And as they watch their re-election bid crumbling into dust, they increase the volume of their HATE in morbid desperation.

The TEA Party had better not be racist... or my ass is in trouble! LOL!

I've been attending TEA Party functions pretty much since day one... and our message should be clear.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY!

And since neither the Dramacrats nor the RINOs can seem to grasp this concept we are going to be attacked from every direction.

And that is why what I believe is the majority of TEA Partiers back RON PAUL!!!
