And here you are, spouting racist rhetoric.

Who has said that the left believes that minorities cannot take care of themselves? Where does the left wing go around saying things like that? That is a right wing position, stating the reasons as to why they believe that leftists do not want entitlements touched.

The fact that you associate 'entitlements' with 'minorities' instead of people who are impoverished, which last time I checked include a LOT of white people, says a lot about the thought process of yourself and others who represent the tea party. You give your party a bad name.

Exactly. All these "entitlement" programs and welfare are in place to help AMERICANS in need and these teabaggers are all over ATS claiming that welfare is just a program for lazy black people. It hardly gets more racist than to assume that all people on welfare are black when the dems never say they are solely looking to help poor black people, just poor people.

Teaparty response in this thread so far has typically been basically 'The TEA party is not racist, we are just sick of paying for lazy black people and other minorities.'

It takes a lot of lying to yourself to get to that kind of a place.

What "colour", what "race", what "ethnicity" am I, you biased little troll?

You make judgements off the cuff, following a script probably written for you, with no actual understanding of what you're saying.
Actually, if you put that on a resume' you'd get a job with the DNC in no time!

And she's still trying to be funny.

Or Roseanne Barr is trying to get her point across.

You have mistaken a need for help with absolute laziness or out right graft and fraud.

I don't hate people at all...but I truly dislike lazy people who just have their hand out for freebies. I don't care what color, religion nor political party they belong too.

Umm, you do know that ObaMoa is a reference to Mao Tse-Tung and is used to compare him to a hard core communist, right? It is in no way racial.

Both Democrats and Republicans are fearful whenever the people get tired of business as usual for the politicians.

SO... They brand this movement as Racist! and Hateful! and Radical !

When I view videos of Tea Party rallies, I don't see the racism, hate or radicals. I see people who are fed up with the current government and business as usual. I see people that would like to take back the government and let it function to better the lives of all the people, not just the people in power.

Any time people start to gather and it may be a threat to the existing power structure (BOTH Democrats and Republicans) you will see this type of slander in the media.

Way above name calling and labeling with that remark aren't you?
Are you trying to prove you are a hypocrite.
Are you one of the posters that claimed the TEA Party is a response to the black caucus or are you taking it upon yourself to be offended for someone else?

Wow, so you offer nothing but assumptions, name calling, and a long winded personal attack to justify how not hateful you all are. Awesome. Tell me when I judged your race again?

Does it Burn?

How does it feel to be exposed as a racist hypocrite?

I'm sorry you had to experience that, I hope that the criminal was caught and jailed. I have no tolerance for thieves, killers, and rapists.

And see, we hate the same people....and I agree with your last statement. All of this is a divide and conquer strategy.

BUT I will point out what I see, the TP has been hijacked by destructive people that have taken it into a territory that I cannot respect.

OK I can agree with most of that.

I also think Sara Palin was turned lose and shoved at the Tea Party specifically to side line Ron Paul.

I view most of this political stuff with suspicion, but we are stuck with reality.

Obama appointed Mike Taylor (Monsanto) to the FDA and General Electric CEO Jeffery Immelt as Czar of the newly created Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. GE and JP Morgan have been in bed together since Morgan lent the money to start the company.

I do not care what color Obama is, those two appointments alone are enough to make me see red.

The Democrats and the Reboobs are exactly the same so that leaves the Tea Party as the only other decent sized political force.

Instead of trying to tear it down isn't it about time we grab it and yanked it back out of the hands of TPTB???

Calling the Tea Party "Racists" is NOT the way to make it the party that can challenge TPTB. What we want is for the Hispanics and Blacks to see it is also THEIR party.

Getting the Government out of the way so we can start our own business or earn a decent wage should be everyone's goal. It is the only way to get our economy back on track. At least the Tea Party can see that and has some knowledge of Fractional Reserve Banking and the role of the Fed.

Stop that sentence at LAZY, and you've got me. Are there a lot more blacks on welfare than whites, percentage-wise? Yes. At the same time there's rich/middle class blacks out there who are TP and they complain about blacks on welfare, and don't say a damn thing about the white ones--and I don't blame them.

Now are some TP members racist? Sure, just like everyone else out here. But if they are racist due to the FACT that many of them only ever meet/are exposed to blacks who are on welfare? That's not quite the same thing as blind hate, that's experiential hate. Those are easy to fix: just pull up case after case of black folks who pay into the system for them, and their reaction shifts more to the lazy, and not the color. Complaining without giving examples of people WHO DO NOT FALL UNDER THE PRESUPPOSED LABEL makes you a part of the problem too. It marks you as prejudiced against the person whom you're describing because you're not willing to help them become better people.

*yawn*
Do you get this stuff e-mailed to you from the DNC, daillyKos, or Huffpew?
Because it sounds like the same boring, incorrect, mindless rhetoric that has been thrown at us ever since we stated that personal responsibility is a good thing.

If what he said is not true then how come no one can supply the list I keep asking for of Teabagger backed politicians who were also NOT GOP. How many times do I need to ask that before one of you amazingly patriotic and well informed "TEA partiers" actually responds. I am more curious why you all keep dancing around this after all the bragging I had to wade through right after the election. You were all so proud of your whopping 34% percent wins and yet now none of you can name one of the people you supported that is not a typical GOPer.

Democrats, liberals, and so-called progressives all claim they are not socialists or communists or even past ku klux klan members, but it's quite easy to find examples of many of them espousing just the opposite.

Examples:

Democrat senator Byrd from West Virginia was a Klan member, so doesn't he also deserve to be called a racist?
Democrat senator Schumer from NY talking about "getting rid of the rich", which is straight out of the communist manifesto.
Democrat representative Maxin Waters's video (posted on ATS several times) where she calls for socialism ...

Of course there are many more examples.

So, it seems quite hypocritical of you to post yet another tea party demonization thread.

Seems they've really got you scared ...

hahah, not really I was just making a point about racism within the movement. TPers should be more proactive in stomping out that kind of nonsense if they want more people to take their movement seriously, because it could have been used as a force for good if it didn't get hijacked by scum and profiteers.

Anyway, no hard feelings I hope. But I have to call it like I see it

edit on 24-8-2011 by illuminatislave because: (no reason given)

That really is the entire problem. If the TP could be honest and admit that there are some racists in the group but they do not approve, that would be spectacular.

What this thread has shown is that instead they just blatantly lie and claim there is NO racism in the TP. Well if they were honest, I would then also believe their intentions and not want to label a whole group. But since they lie and pretend they just happen to be the only group of people in the country with not a single racist among them, it is not a stretch to also assume they lie when they claim they themselves are not racist.

They cannot have it both way. I have no problem admitting there are Democrats that are racist and they are a problem that needs to be fixed. If only the teabaggers could be so honest about themselves.

BOY, you should hear some of my Black (and Hispanic) customers on that subject!

I would not dare even THINK about some of the comments I have heard. DISGUSTED does not even begin to cover it.

How about dems, libs and so-called progressives first? Go on, step up and show everyone else some leadership. Just like obama - er - maybe you'd better pick someone else ...

But you are quite hypocritically trying to have it both ways. And if you really want to lead by example, how about dropping the very childish name calling?

Why don't you STAY ON TOPIC for once?

It's absolutely pathetic when the tea party defenders can't stay on topic. They probably don't have anything of substance to contribute either.

'tea-party' was Ron Paul's movement, it gained so much ground that the establishment infiltrated COINTELPRO. Adding straight bought'n'paid for puppets Palin, Christine O'Donnel, Michele Bachmann, to dilute and takeover the movement. Remember when Rand Paul was in elections they tried screwing him over, put in provacatuers to pose as TPers and say racist crap on camera for TV, they said he kidnapped women and wasn't a real doctor and worshipped Aqua Buddha.

"Tea-Party" has been hijacked, they got their moron puppets in place to screw the people over.

Is it no wonder Ron Paul is never mentioned, yet Bachmann and Palin are like celebrities and commonly associated as the 'leaders' of the tea party.

--- Im not a tea-partier, Im above that soap opera being played to the sheep, left-right paradigm is fake and both bought'n'paid for, One of the first things that I was awakened too.

I support Ron Paul thats it. He runs as Repub. because Independents don't get on ballots n tv.

I believe that Kit and TehSword are terrified and are doing what they can to negate the damage to the already flailing DNC. Their guy is failing, as are their party hacks.

People are starting to wake up to this two party system and it's failures. Kit and Sword are still trying to stir the racism plot but that card was maxed out long ago.

This will be a intersesting election, and I will even bet a months pay to your favorite charity that when the DNC loses, they will be crying fraud and protesting in the street. IT'S NOT FAIR!

First four charities suggested get $250 donated. It's a win , win! The first $250 always goes to the Guide Dog Foundation to the Blind.
