For that matter, I should add, this is exactly the kind of "damge", or rather MISPLACEMENT that is typical of a weak earthquake such as this. I can understand that it's not "typical" of the region, the last earthquake which was a 5.8 struck here 100+ years ago, but seriously people...it's not that big of a deal.

If this was really tragic, I just wonder how many Countries would be cheering our devastation and which ones would contribute to our relief efforts? There are many countries we shouldn't aid such as N Korea but we still do.The Middle east cheers during 911. We should not be in many of these places.

Please stop the fear mongering!!!

I live in DC and can assure you that that is the usual state of CVS store floors.

That lawn chair does worry me though ... it's supposed to be upright.
