Does anyone believe this has anything to do with the new mardid fault?

Whether or not it has anything to do with New Madrid is not a matter of belief, but a matter of geology.

On topic of the Earthquake....

I saw my computer and desk swaying back and forth. I thought someone was moving stuff downstairs but it kept swaying. I ran outside as fast as i could and saw my pool water swaying like someone moved a water class...

I'm in South Western PA. Westmoreland county

No one is talking about the New Madrid Fault Line. That is my biggest concern right now.

One post above yours I mention it.

Also I listed a few other quakes like the 3.something last week in Colorado and the one in one of the Dakotas. And then the 5.3 in Colorado this morning (I think?).

Then this one this afternoon.

Although these quakes may seem rare and unrelated, they are signs of activity.

Me neither.....my Dog isn't acting as if he heard/felt anything either....guess it's the stable Granite here in the Granite State....solid as a rock !

Definitely unusual for this neck of the woods....Is this a sign of things to come in the future ... ??

There's the North Anna Nuclear Power plant about 12 miles north of the epicenter.

Just saying ..

I have to say it's kind of humorous to see peoples reactions to an earthquake in a region where they don't normally occur.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, experienced the North Ridge earthquake and all of the in-betweens. Seriously guys, it's not the end of the world - I laughed pretty damn hard when someone mentioned that it could be Elenin. There are faults everywhere in the U.S. and a decent sized earthquake is bound to happen at any given time. I remember when the massive Chile earthquake hit that I felt some tremors rock the house slightly, so yeah the distance of earthquakes can travel immensely and trigger movements in other fault lines. I mention this comment because I see that some people out in Ohio/New York are freaking out that they felt it being so far away.

It's all good in the hood people - I think the ATS community that are reporting they felt it are taking it more out of context than a non-ATS member would (You know what I mean lol).

I'll give a little tip on what my parents used to do to me when an earthquake struck. I was so terrified of earthquakes as a kid that they would shove a spoon full of sugar down my throat to calm me down.

I was in Cali when the big one hit when I was younger.... if it was even possible for me to feel it in southern Ohio, I wouldn't have noticed

I rode out the '94 quake in SoCal, so I'm a vet... and I most certainly felt the DC quake here in Columbus, Ohio.

Yup, I'm on a high hill here in Framingham, and my office chair was shaking back and forth. Most of the people in the building here felt it.

So you're saying only white people sin?
That's pretty racist, isn't it?
