Maybe a little bit of a, a little bit of b, and a little bit of c?

It was a natural progression though... As I mentioned before, not every culture on this planet views time in a linear fashion... there are many cultures that view time as cyclical.

Open has said there are two options to discover... at first, we thought he was referring to the beginning and the end because time was only represented as linear.

Now, it would *appear* that the two options are linear and cyclical... however, I don't want to get to ahead of myself here, maybe Open still has things to add?

If not, and these are our options, what would you choose, cing?

Can't it be both?

Can linear and cyclical time coexist?

Perhaps exist but not coexist, yes? It seems to indicate two different "realities"..."all in the eyes".

Assuming these are our options, which one would you choose, TNT?

Do you believe time to be linear of cyclical?

If we can, indeed, influence the outcome (and for the good) then I would choose cyclical. It would offer hope, I think, to a desperate humanity.

I am still learning, JourPolaire, and I have much left to learn.

Edit: Mon ami, in my ignorance, have I spoken wrongly?

There's always much to learn!

We should never stop learning

Edit to your Edit:
Why would you say such a thing? Of course the answer is no!
Why isn't there a  emoticon?!

Oh well...

Maybe it's linear in a scientific sense, and cyclical in a spiritual one.

Have we just received our first solid, unequivocal clue?

If anyone can tell me how to upload a .php I will gladly do so. I will still stand by the opinion that this is a freakin peach...a non-boon (for any gamers), a goose(for any farmers). Honestly......we are in a world where so many things are possible but the rational still escapes us? There is a good reason that this puzzle is not going to be solved. There is a good reason that it doesn't need to be. I'm sure mankind will blow up the earth at some point (only cause we have the means to), no cryptic clues needed . Its either doom or euphoria, right? I'll tell you something - This is neither. Its made up!

I must go...quickly. A most massive thunderstorm has appeared from nowhere. I cannot afford to replace this computer..another victim of this horrid economy.

Good-night, my friends, rest well.

Be kind to each other...for we are truly one.

Peace...Namaste...Shalom

Hello, lolly, I was just about to leave

I can't help you with the .php. Perhaps you could just share what you've learned in words and a link to the file.

Sometimes, a puzzle doesn't need to be solved in order to enjoy trying to fit all the pieces together. Some of us, I am one, have gotten far more from this thread than a simple solution to a convoluted puzzle.

That is a possibility...

On a biological level, I am born... I age... my cell reproduction slows... I die.
My body, in that sense, exists on a linear timeline.
But, am I just my body?
Maybe I am living both a linear and a cyclical life simultaneously.
Maybe I've lived in another body before.

What about our sun? It was born, it is aging, and one day, it will go supernova.
Our sun will have lived on a linear timeline.
But what of the molecules it shot into the interstellar medium?
Will they, one day, be 'born again' into something else?
Maybe another star?

Yikes!

I just had one of those approaching... thankfully, though, it pretty much passed right over.

Keep safe!

That our infinite selves are currently restricted to our bodies which operate in a plane of existence in which there are strict rules.

Time doesn't really exist at all. It's simply a useful measurement. Yes, we have lots of instruments that measure time. Now we measure it by the vibrations of a Cesium atom.

Back in the day, ancient times, they used the sun. We've perhaps become so dependent upon time that forget to see past the illusion.

I'll quickly add that in quantum mechanics, time appears to flow both ways. Your thoughts?
