I think its amazing that we've been looking at our solar system for such a long time but have only scratched the surface of its mysteries

Amazing! The real question is what else is out there?

Some of you are putting down the opening post because of a 'brown dwarf' comment. Do you have proof that this white planet is not orbiting a brown dwarf?

It seems like every week, we hear about something new being discovered in space.

Think about what you are saying here. A brown dwarf would be thousands of times larger, brighter, and more massive than this relatively small object. It would be visible to the naked eye, and causing gravitational havoc in the Kuiper Belt.

Trust me. This object is orbiting the Sun, and there is no brown dwarf anywhere near the planetary region of the Solar System.

It's orbiting our Sun. Our sun is not a brown dwarf. QED

You know true Brown dwarfs resent that moniker, they prefer to be known as 'Ethnic diverse mass abridged stars', or simply, Edmas.

Now if they can only field a contending football team, the cosmos is truly filled with wonders.

May be its orbiting a brown dwarf that we couldn't detect. They could discover more when they start to see these bodies approach much closer.

Yes. Space news is getting more mainstream at least of late. Looks like they finally want to educate the masses with some sensible news.
