This is my first thread so be nice.

Insert usual disclaimer for mods to move if this is in the wrong section

Ran across this today and liked the positive take on the Elenin. I'm linking the project avalon forum as this is where it started (as far as I know any way) and it seems to be a good place to keep up with anything new.

projectavalon.net...

What is everyone's take on this? So many great minds here that it seems you guys/gals could pick up on some clues (maybe dis-info). Also, anyone here have a directional ham radio antenna?

Would love to hear what is supposedly being broadcast from Elenin (also makes me wonder if SETI was shut down on purpose as they have awesome equipment to listing to signals in a specific direction.

Peace

That has to take the cake for one of the dumbest claims ever.

How long does it take to get there?
From the moment the crew steps in the craft, preps, clears port, about 60 minutes. Actual travel time, about 20.

No human could survive the G-forces involved.

s = 1/2at^2
or
a = 2s/t^2

Suppose the comet is 50 million miles away
Then s = 81 million km away

Suppose that the craft accelerates halfway and then begins to brake. Assume that the acceleration is constant on each leg.

a = 2(1/2 81*10^6*1000)/(20*60)^2 = 56250 m/s^2

That is 5740G!

C'mon man. You know they have a stargate in orbit which they used. No Gs involved G.
