Absolutely, It is the sheoplized robots who are to blame. That doesn't take any blame away from the powers that be, but most people are so comfortable in their fantasy world that they would never rise up and risk losing everything. That's not to say that a revolution would end up in certain peoples favor either. Without a doubt sooner than later, the same exact corruption would resurface under a different band of usual suspects. Alot of the time revolutions end with the middle and upper classes being stripped of everything and sometimes killed by the masses of the less fortunate. That's what I believe will eventually happen here in The United States of America. ~SheopleNation

Cool story, bro.

I was thinking more in the area of a quit judging Kim Kardashian's intelligent tweets post disguised as a GWB hate post. Maybe that's just me though.

Well he shouldn't have made so many promises and then broke all of them.

George Bush, who doesn't have a vote in congress and who no longer occupies The White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama's promise, to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.

He broke Obama's promise, to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.

He broke Obama's promise, to end earmarks.

He broke Obama's promise, to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.

He broke Obama's promise, to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.

He broke Obama's promise, to make peace with direct, no precondition talks with America's most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama's promise, to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.

He broke Obama's promise, to end no-compete contracts with the government.

He broke Obama's promise, to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.

He broke Obama's promise, for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.

He broke Obama's promise, to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.

For Christs sake stop blaming Bush for everything under the sun! He's definitely not the only one who sucked, there's congress, the judicial system, and all those presidents before him. I guess if we can't blame Obama cuz he's powerless we can't blame Bush either. The same for the next guy, stuff is just beyond their control. Poor guys, craps flying everywhere and the most powerful man in the world can only twiddle his fingers and cower in the fetal!

Obama ran on hope and change...............but he is a puppet like the rest of them...........

He kept the same wall street criminals that the puppets have before him involved in government............Summers, Geitner, Paulson and others like that.......

that is not change................and there is certainly no hope when the banksters keep controlling the government and the economy.

Incidently look at the money Goldman Sachs is dumping into his reelection campaign..........

He's a two faced puppet phony........just like Bush, Clinton and the others................

How about no? He has veto power, he can stop this madness and actually get things fixed but he won't.

First off your charts are complete bs... produced by someone with an agenda.. .try getting data directly from the govt at least.

Second, you completely ignore the fact that Democrats took control of both houses in 2006.. that's when the spending started going nuts.

Third, he not only didn't end either Bush war... he doubled down on and started at least 2 more (Libya and Yemen) with Syria and Iran and maybe others just waiting in the wings.

I could go on but you won't see the nonsense in your own post anyway. I blame all of DC but the President has the veto power.. he can veto bad bills but Obama won't. He wants these policies... it's what he ran on and what he's believed all his life. To fundamentally change America... into a European style Socialist state.

I supported Obama and even voted for him thinking that he would bring some change during these four years. However, seeing that he goes around and pretty much believes he has the right to invade other people's lands, this is wrong. George Washington is definitely rolling in his grave right now when it comes to the United States international neutrality policy.

Dear Jiggypotamus: I will use your elegantly written rebuttal for all you describe in this thread.

So fellow i'm responding too, here you are!

"Some of you are saying things along the lines of "well, he's the president, he should be held to a higher standard...he has the most accountability." Do any of you have any education in how government operates? Your rhetoric might sound good to someone who doesn't know or understand how government operates, but to me it is simply laughable.

It's a fallacy. You cannot provide the direct evidence the op asked for to disagree with him, so you appeal to emotion with your shallow words, which mean nothing to anyone with any knowledge on the subject. Unbelievable. You should spend less time allowing your incorrect assumptions to influence others, and more time reading and educating yourself on how government really works.

To the op, I cannot provide any evidence to disprove what you say, just like most of the others, but I will not attempt to "prove" you are wrong by insulting Obama, or by saying "he should be held to a higher standard..." LOL "

If you know this....again why are you so hard against Obama? See this is where Obama haters allow us a peek into their illogic.

I blame Obama for the economy. There's not much more you can blame him for.

He's a lawyer. IE, he gets his job done with good speaking but lousy quality sometimes. This reflects on his presidency. High quality peaks, low quality average.

I'm tired of typing so I'll insert this post from another member:

BO actively campaigned for things that only the Socialist Democrats want, such as the Universal healthcare. oh wait Big Pharma wanted it too....and everything went up in cost dramatically, including health care premiums. He actively co-OPd and courted SEIU and the Unions, he actively campaigned for Wisconsin Unions and against the GOP there. He actively got involved with Libya. He actively and forcibly through Executive Order forced a moratorium on domestic oil drilling. He actively promoted the Stimulus, which added a huge bureaucratic engine to police and enforce HIPAA.
Any questions?

To be honest, that's a lot of words with no meaning. What is it trying to prove? How does it relate to what I said?

Fact is, the leader of a country should, ideally, be better than those that made him leader. This is, after all, why he is leader. You wouldn't make a quantum physicist do English elementary school? And you wouldn't make a failure your leader.

Fact is we did. We elected a failure. Just like we did before that, and the time before that, and the time before that, going back a great number of decades.

Why? Because we trusted.

Perhaps we should trust less. Perhaps we should give up on hope for trustworthy people. I have. I think that's why people are moving to Ron Paul now. He at least has a record to trust. Which flips what I just said upside down. Because before him, we trusted your words, not your record. That's a mistake. We should not care for your words, but always your record.

That is why, and that is proof, that Obama deserves the blame.

I present this quote from one of our members:

"I totally agree with you. I think people in general are more comfortable blaming an individual than a group. I believe it's not as comfortable and satisfying to point a finger at a group of people as it is a single person. It allows us to make the grudge personal.

I grew up in a small town that didn't have a very good school system but even I understand how the system of Checks and Balances work. With some exceptions such as being commander in chief, the president really only has real power to do two things. To veto or not to veto."

Pay close attention where he states the schools in his area weren't even that good, but he understands how limited the President is.
