You just proved my point, rich boys get away with it all while the working class are jailed.

So much for democracy in the UK, While we are bombing Libya a cheek, and criticising, Syria and Egypt and other countries for censoring their citizens when using social media, while they are considering to the same also

Agreed but the "no-fly-zone" in UNSCR 73 should be take out of context and the rest is fine. Cause it always means that you just to make sure that no enemy aircraft is permitted to fly in those zones. I don't know why they put it there.
edit on 21-8-2011 by Paulioetc15 because: (no reason given)

Why would they "go on a mass killing spree" all of a sudden? They haven't done so yet and have actually been treating POW's and locals very well, for the most part.

and how do you know this?

you saw it in the news?

I have not seen anything to the contrary, anywhere.

Why, have you? If you have, then spit it out, rather than asking me to prove a negative, which is such a childish debating tactic.

UN resolution 1973 permits more than just a “no fly zone”. It effectively allows NATO forces to protect Libyan citizens by any means short of the deployment of ground forces.

Not at all. It just proves not everybody wants people to be arrested for things. I've got away with stuff that would have attracted a Police response by way of an apology and making amends. Happens all the time and doesn't prove anything.

You're English is terrible. It's hard to understand what on earth you're on about, but I get you're claiming we're going to "censor" social media, which is totally false and a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts (in other words - you're lying)

if the news didn't reported it, it doesn't mean it never happened.

but it seems you believe in all of that "professional reporting"...

like the news from beginning of the war about "defenseless rebels with no guns..."

Sorry I don’t know what post that was in response to but UN resolution 1973 does not explicitly talk about the removal of Gaddafi as far as i know.

I think the overthrow of Gaddafis government was the job of the Libyan rebels, and NATO was not authorized by the UN to do that, only to protect civilians and aid the rebels. But did NATO was authorized to aid rebels? Cause i cannot be sure.
