Saw this on youtube. I thought I would ask the experts.

What do you think?

The posters comments.

This is the first time I've ever seen anything like this, it was totally by accident. I just had to create a youtube account so that I could upload this, I couldn't resist. If there are any experts out there please approach me, I will email you the original photograph. It was too fast for me to catch anything else. I think I'm lucky I even got this.

This video is the property of youtube user: newbiesouthafrica

He was asking what people thought?

Catch of Fake?

Add: The only reason I posted it is the very last image of the video. I have ask for the original.

That's what I was thinking, frisbee? Eiher way, if someone really wanted to examine this picture they do have the tree branches to compare aginst the object to see how big or small that object really is

Frisbee......clearly he didnt make it into a video because it would have been very obvious

He probably got his mate to throw it whilst he snapped it moving...very original LOL

The shape is sorta different from a frisbee though...
This thing here looks concave from the top, usually a frisbee is concave from the bottom.
and that white shape on it...

I sent an email the guy and ask for the original.

I am not saying it's anything. The very last frame puzzles me.

But, there are some real video pro's here.

Just like to get one of their opinions.

Doesnt matter how good people are at looking at manipulated footage/pictures.

This is a toy of some sorts thrown in the air, it cant be debunked in that sense as there is nothing to debunk.
I could put this through animation software and come back with nothing....purely because its un-altered.

It doesnt change the fact there is no video to accompany it, which in it self leads me to believe this is BS. Would be nice to see the EXIF data too, but im sure he will be less than willing to give us that.

Massive edge highlight on the right side. Something distant just wouldn't have that highlight visible so starkly.

I'm really just taking it from the YouTube preview image, since I have no decent net just now, but yes it doesn't look like anything spectacular.

It's not concaved on the top .
It looks very much like a frisbee to me .

This is a pretty poor fakery . You can even see where Gaussian blur has been added to try and mimic speed in flight.

The give away is the trees . They are completely in focus . The natural reaction when photographing a moving object at speed is to pan with it and if this had been the case , then the foreground would have been blurred .

I call hoax

I will ask him.

I also know that is probably a toy.

I am just so sick of blurry lights in the sky.

It is nice to see something in the daylight.

I guess we will see if he sends the photo.

Ive just posted on the vid asking for the original pics and the EXIF data.....i doubt he will send them though haha.

He recons the other quality pics (not shown on youtube) are 700mb EACH

What he means is......i dont want to send them because ive manipulated them.....700mb EACH....seriously?? haha

Thanks for the input.

If that is the consensus I will go with hoax.

I kind of agree with Loves a Conspiracy.

Let's see If he even responds.

700mb ? That is some big ass file . A standard RAW file is around 12.5 mb.

If he says he saw it then picked up the camera and took that photo?

I thought it just turned up in a photo.

I just don't get the fun of a hoax?
