The founding members include senior officials from the Police Federation, the police staff association, which is currently fighting the Government over its plans to cut budgets.
The new Masonic lodge is led by John Tully, a Metropolitan Police officer, who has given numerous interviews in recent days accusing the Prime Minister of "fighting violence, arson and looting on our city streets with sound-bites".

www.telegraph.co.uk...

It's not really the article which caught my eye, but the headline which openly mentions free mason's and the police.

The inquiry followed questions about masonic involvement in the abandonment of an investigation into a shoot-to-kill policy in Northern Ireland and with the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad, which was disbanded after evidence of police malpractice.
Membership is open to all serving and retired officers across Britain and others working alongside the police, including lawyers, criminologists and even the financial advisers who manage officers' retirement plans.

So is this it folks? Is this evidence that free mason's can be corrupt when it comes to rubbing each others shoulders?? Is it more than just a lodge? Does corruption exist within these halls?

That's an interesting find. I'll be checking this out later.

Being honest, nothing surprises me with the Heirarchy anymore.

I expect in the weeks, months to follow, that there'll be more and more revelations that will be made public to us minnions.

Interesting times indeed

There is no evidence of any corruption within the Sine Favore lodge or any other lodge associated with the Met or any other Police Service in the United Kingdom.

How can this be evidence of corruption?

Officers have been members of lodges throughout history. The lodges offer a support network for members as well as other associated benefits but this has nothing to do with corruption.

Read the quote

Masonic involvement affecting an inquiry. This is just one example - who says there isn't more being hidden from non-masons?

I am fully aware of the quote. The quote offers no proof of any corruption. Simply that the inquiry raised/ followed questions and that an investigation was abandoned.

The dark days of the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad were indeed disgusting. Many convictions have since been rightfully overturned as unsafe but that is a different matter.
No evidence of corruption was even proven between any lodge and the squad. There was speculation fuelled by the media but no proof.

The Met Police has been corrupt for years so please. They accepted gifts from the Cult of Scientology before it was exposed. They are being investigated over the hacking scandals for leaking information to the press and beinf paid for it.. To say they are Not corrupted is misleading to say the least.

I have no doubt that certain officers have engaged in corrupt activities just as in any industry, financial institute, workplace etc etc but to say they are all corrupt on that basis alone could be considered naive.
This still shows no evidence whatsover that the Sine Favore lodge is corrupt in any way, shape or form.
