The op has pointed out that Communism, Socialism and Marxism should be consider treason.
While as distasteful as these forms of government are, they are a point of political thought. We are a country of laws, and based on those laws are
the very idea of freedom and choice. We have the right to choose what politicians we choose to elect and if we desire them to stay in office or
remove them when we do not desire to have them in that position any more.
We can not punish a person for believing in something, nor should be. That would be reminiscent of the McCarthy era, where there were modern day
witch hunts for those who were suspected of being communist, and those convicted or turned in, were ruined for about the rest of their lives. While
the very ideas that the three political groups would espouse are distasteful to all of us, they have the very same rights as anyone in the US does, to
not only state their political belief, but also to legally enter into office.
" A country of laws, based on the idea of freedom and choice" Absolutely; But when an ideology or political agenda openly attempts to subvert the
very laws that grant those defined freedoms and choices, it is called treason. One can believe that John Doe is an s.o.b., but if he decides to beat
the hell out of him, it becomes a crime. I believe G.W. committed treason when he made the statement " the constitution is only a god damn piece of
paper".
Such is the mind set of the global elite.
By the way, Joe McCarthy was proven to be right when he exposed the communist influence in America. The supposition that he ruined "innocent" lives
is revisionist history. The Senate Committee on un -American Activities only questioned 9 individuals. All admitted to being communists or either
took the fifth amendment and refused to answer.
A thorough reading of history will reveal that around the turn of the century, there was a strong communist movement in America, with elected
communist party officials in many positions in our government. After the soviets took over Russia, many of these party members actively worked as
spies for the Soviets. The offices of the CFR were next door to the soviet embassy in New York, and the constant comings an goings of known communist
party American government officials, is what eventually led to the investigations. It was a huge blow to the communists who were financially connected
to some of Hollywood's wealthiest moguls. They cried foul and went on a disinformation campaign against McCarthy. Some people bought into the
propaganda and with Hollywood's assistance, attempted the slander him. More
press coverage of disinformation about McCarthy eventually won out and he was toast, but the facts remain in the congressional record. Look it up.
