There won't be total war. If Israel feels that threatened all you will see are nukes going off around them. They you can complain that there is radiation in the food your eating.

All it will take is one good natural disaster one state over from where I live for that to happen. So I could care less. I do not fear things that I cannot control.

And you bring up another reason as to why we need to stop breastfeeding those clowns...they have nukes. Great deterrent. Get off of our teat

Well Israel can pretty much take over all the oil in the middle east then. 300 nukes can kill an awful lot of people.

But at least we won't be involved right?

The former head of Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) urges military action by the regime in the Sinai Peninsula, following growing tensions with Egypt.

Former head of Israel’s National Security Council (NSC): "Israel Prepares for War with Egypt in Sinai Desert"

Uzi Dayan told Israel’s Channel 7 on Friday that Israeli military and security forces should prepare for a period different from the past in dealing with the new Egyptian government.

He claimed that the military effort would aim to target those that represent a threat to the Israeli regime.

“This is the time for the Israeli army to prevail its control inside Sinai,” Dayan went on to say.

Israeli troops are banned from entering the Sinai Peninsula under a 1979 peace treaty with Egypt.

Now why would this guy start talking ?

that would be a huge game changer in deed ...think about it america says sorry were not gonna help you any more so then the middle east rejoices tell china parks there carrier of the coast of Israel or some thing in exchange they give the chinese all of our tech. would probaly be the end of a Palestinian state as an option too as china tends to respect historical claims (ie tiawan tibet etc)

i personaly dobut it will happen but it would for sure be a game changer

This article suggests third parties.

Attacks lead Israel to condemn the Arab Spring

(August 19, 2011)

The attacks coincide with ongoing Egyptian military operations against Islamist groups in the Sinai Peninsula ... (a move Israel endorsed). Since the fall of Mubarak, anti-government fighters in the Sinai have been attacking Egyptian military outposts, infiltrating into towns and blowing up gas pipelines between Egypt and Israel. Since Mubarak's fall, the Israeli government has asserted that Hamas has redoubled its efforts to ship weapons into Gaza through the tunnels (indeed, the Egyptian Army's control of the region slackened during the anti-regime protests; the resulting campaign is an effort to reassert control over the strategic peninsula).

In choosing to target Eilat, the attackers may have sought to influence Egypt's position towards Israel by stoking the fires of anti-Israeli sentiment in the region. Remember that one of the first things the transitional government that replaced Israel's long-time ally Mubarak promised to do was uphold the 1979 peace treaty with Israel, a treaty which at the time was regarded as an act of capitulation by then-Egyptian president Anwar Sadat. The transitional government had absolutely no desire to test Israeli will or American largess by repudiating that treaty, or the agreements that followed it. [color=limegreen]By attacking targets on the Israeli-Egyptian border, the insurgents may hope to win accolades for so brazenly "sticking it" to the two main regional powers.

Israel does NOT have as much oil as Saudi Arabia. They have found a large reserve of Natural Gas. Which is an entirely different ball game altogether. California also sits on one of the worlds largest natural gas deposits. Big deal, they are still running budget deficits and going broke.

Wait, what..Egypt attacked Israel?

The false flag case deepens...

It seems to me that YOU are the one tossing out that Egypt will attack [False Flag] scenario. The article clearly states that the Egyptians are "Reinforcing their Border" Far cry from instigating an attack. Egypt has every right to move whatever troops it wants within their borders.

This is exactly what Israel gets because every time someone attacks them they go all half cocked and hit any and every target that moves.

Any and all countries that are attacked have a right to defend themselves or go after said attackers. This isn't the "Knights of old" where chivalry and edicate are observed on the battle field before an engagement anymore. Both sides play their games often times down and dirty.

The world is unbalanced, balancing acts always require adjustments, the tightrope width needs widened .

A super state of Israel is coming, it has been foretold many times, it will happen.

No one is going to challenge Israel, they can huff and puff and threaten, but Israel has nuclear weapons , and could take on most nations in the world.

The S'hite Islamic rebels stirring the pot all over the middle east are a bigger threat to the Israelis than the sunni despots who are allied to some extent with the status quo.

Its all going to go down , toensnare the entire region within the Western?Israeli web.

Before China gets going .
Its all about China and the Russians.

I don't think any Arab state would involve themselves overtly in the same attack Israel is in. During the first Gulf war America had to do everything in their power to keep Israel from joining the coallition in attacking Iraq because the Arab contingents would have immediately disolved and the conflict would have been de-legitimized in the Muslims world.

Could you imagine the frenzy at the Arab league if Arab states were to join a coallition with Israel? Jordan and Egypt were slandered when they pursued bilateral peace accords with Israel (rather than multilateral peace accord involving a number of Arab states- Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine). Even the PLO came under considerable scrutiny for excluding the Arab states out of an Israel-PLO accord.

As for those fearing China intervening in the Middle East. I doubt it will become some sort of imperial force. It has learnt from a history of Chine imperialism, European imperialism and now American imperialism. Unless it has formal commitments to the defence of Arab states or Israel (it does not) then I doubt it will commit itself to a land occupation/war. Remember all those people fear-mongering around China: They have a long history of non-intervention and the only conflict they enter tend to be centered around border disputes (Taiwan/South China/Chinese Sea) and Americans coming to close to China (Korea)

ON TOPIC: If Israel really wants to ease tensions in this cold peace it has with Egypt it should officially and publicly apologize and if it wants to be extra committed it should compensate the families for their loss. It was an accident that is soley Israels fault.

So it is now confirmed, Israel will launch something like Cast Lead against Gaza in the next 24 hours.

Already hundreds of tanks lining up on the border with Gaza. Turkey has warned Gaza that Israel is preparing it... they are not launching it now because they let 24 hres to foreigners in Gaza to get out.

This is about to get bad, real bad.

And Hamas launched a anti-ship missile and hit an Israeli warship.

That's probably true and yet everyone is worried about Iran "maybe" getting a nuke or two.

How's this for the US staying neutral??

Associated of Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad say that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton threatened in a phone conversation to halt the American aid to the Palestinians if they ask the United Nations to recognize an independent Palestinian state in September.

The sources noted that Clinton told Fayyad that this would happen if the Palestinians fail to give the American administration a chance to resume peace negotiations with Israel. The sources added that Fayyad relayed the message to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. (Elior Levy)

www.ynetnews.com...

Why is the US against Palestine approaching the UN for a vote if not the complete control of the US by Israel???
And why are Israel so worried that the world (UN) may actually side with Palestine??

IMO Israel is merely isolating itself from the rest of the world with it's heavy stance..
