If smoking is considered a "right" say freedom of expression (because I look pretty cool when I'm smokin a Camel) then if someone says I can't smoke, are they violating my civil rights.

Only if you are not violating my rights not to partake in your smoke

In other words: Do as you will
As long as it harms no others.

That's the problem that no one has been able to determine, i.e. is you lung cancer from my second hand smoke or my uncles second hand smoke or from the rubber factory down the road or maybe your your own car.

Yeah, they proved that if you were, for instance, a lab rat, and you happened to be enclosed in a plexiglass box with an interior volume of perhaps 2 cubic feet, and there just so happened to be a couple of tubes connected to that box, and those tubes were, inexplicably, carrying all of the smoke from about a pound of tobacco leaves that were for some odd reason smouldering slowly in a pile somewhere else, then you might, given the right circumstances, cough a few times the next morning.

What about my right to not be assaulted by someone's body odor? People who stink should be taxed.

Also, a very large amount of the taxes taken from tobacco sales goes to fund medical insurance for needy children. So anyone who won't let me smoke wherever I want is a selfish greedy meanie that likes to watch children suffer and die.
