You might be onto something...keep looking for similarities:
Isn't it ironic that in binary mathematics, the old dial-up modems connected at speeds like:
14.4 + 14.4 = 28.8
28.8 + 28.8 = 57.6 + 28.8 = 86.4 + 28.8 = 115.2 + 28.8 = 144
or
8 + 8 = 16 + 8 = 24 + 8 = 32 + 8 = 40 + 8 = 48 + 8 = 56 + 8 = 64 + 8 = 72 + 8 = 80 + 8 = 88 + 8 = 96 + 8 = 104 + 8 = 112 + 8 = 120 + 8 = 128 + 8 = 136
+ 8 = 144
BINARY!
2^0 = 1, 2^1 = 2, 2^2 = 4, 2^3 = 8, 2^4 = 16, 2^5 = 32, 2^6 = 64, 2^7 = 128, 2^8 = 256
0 - 255 = 256
BINARY AGAIN!
Of course, you could always insert and calculate with additional values of binary, but you'll see a pattern emerge with striking resemblances to
binary. In-fact, it's identical to binary.
Keep thinkin'...
