Yet another entity has caved to the threats of insurgents' tactics of kidnapping and threatening death to their hostages. Tepe construction company, based out of Turkey, has announced it will pull all workers from Iraq in an attempt to save the life of one of its workers being held hostage.

A SECOND Turkish firm said today it was withdrawing from Iraq to save the life of a Turkish worker who was facing execution at the hands of his kidnappers.

Tepe construction company said in a brief statement, carried by the Anatolia news agency, that it had decided pull out all its workers from the war-torn country in order to secure the release of Aytullah Gezmen.

Company officials were not immediately available for comment.

Mr. Gezmen was kidnapped along with a second worker, Murat Yuce. Mr. Yuce was subsequently executed by his captors.
