If anyone happens to be in the Boston Massachusetts area, the Museum of Science is hosting the following event:
Artistic Visions, Scientific Truths
Wednesday, November 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Artist Alexis Rockman, whose paintings harness the power of metaphor to create compelling visions of our complicated relationship to the natural
world, and ocean biologist James McCarthy, a leader in bridging science and policy in his work on global climate change, will discuss the
interconnections of art and science in the 21st century. They will address how a broader public might be engaged in the dominant issues of our time
and highlight both the wonder and the urgency that inform their work.
