Australia's Antarctica claimed land being taken by the Chinese???

I was searching around on google news and found some stories stating how Australia should enforce/upgrade its security regarding Antarctica as it owns 42% of the continent. There was one quote that piqued my interest in a article i read:

"There are even reports that Kunlun Station, established on the AAT's Dome Argus, features a sign stating 'Welcome to China,' implying Chinese territoriality and denial of Australia's claim," the Lowy paper said.

Now, Russia and China both own outposts on Australian land in Antarctica, and if China is starting to claim our land as theirs, there is something wrong. Anyway, without further ado, here is the link to the article:

No country should have a claim to Antarctica, the whole continent should be
given world heritage status and exempt from these greedy bastards trying to
slice it up and raping it for resouces.

seriously who cares? As an Aussie I see this as a non event.

Are we doing anything with the land anyway?
