In commanding fashion, and as everyone expected, Ron Paul won the first-ever ATS Republican Straw poll with a staggering 83.2% of the 17,783 votes
(12,865 from non-members) received in 48 hours. From a purely statistical standpoint, as far as the members and visitors of ATS are concerned, no
other candidate matters. But while the candidate poll results may not be a surprise for regular visitors of ATS, the follow-up questions regarding the
reasons for the various choices make for some compelling comparisons and perhaps some productive contemplation... or at least we can hope.
