Sorry, but we should not be the world police.
WE are wasting our money on other countries and their problems.

Is that clear?

And Rick Perry just lost a lot of supporters with his statement as well.
No. Mexico take care of your own crap.
Secure the southern border and let the Mexican people take responsibility for their own country.

We shouldn't be in the Middle East anymore, and we sure as hell don't belong in Mexico.

the usa is not the worlds police???...since when??? our military has been constantly involved in conflicts large and small, all over the world, ever since we became a country!!! > en.wikipedia.org...

After reading the last 12 pages (most of them) there really is nothing I can add to this "debate" / flame war that hasn;t already been said, or in a thousand other similar threads.

The same old rhetoric and statistic get thrown up again and again, along with the minute men war cry, or "Protect the border, remember the Alamo", and "Dey tuk uur Jaaabs!!

It just further demonstrates to me the lack of understanding of the situation in Mexico, and the belief in the right of the USA for manifest destiny!

As some will know, I live in Mexico, although am neither from Mexico, or the USA. (Europe in fact) Yes mexican society in general has issues, just like any other developing nation. and particular issues with the corruption and gangs. One way or another it will see it's way out, without outside interference from the US. even though you have and do continue to.

But the one thing that you forget, is there is majority of Mexico, and it's people are no longer the small town rancheros and banditos of the silver screen. They are young, educated, professional, and damn hungry for success, and prosperity. eager to show the world, hoe far they have come. To throw off the yoke of poverty and class oppression carried by their fathers. yes it get annoying sometimes, as they can be a little too eager and earnest to show how "cultured" they are. other than that the majority are hard working, kind and honest.

As the TV ad says

"La mayoria son los buenos"

But if for one second thos ethat control the US military saw this OP and though, Ya know what? that's a damn fine idea that is! Just for one second what the serious repercussions of that would be, I mean seriously think about. Do you really believe that this could be done unilaterally with impunity and with consequences.

if you believe that. Then it is you that is backward and culturally destitute. Not Mexico.

but if anyone does read this, then when you can, grab a flight down to real Mexico: Jalisco, or Colima, Oaxaca or Merida, Chiapas or Morelos, The Nayarit Riviera. Baja California Sur or Los Mochis. DF or Guadalajara.

You'll be glad you did.

Oh yes, I forgot to add. When your troops come down here tell them to

1, don't eat tacos off the street corner, it will affect the battle readiness. as it takes a good two weeks to build up sufficient resistance to "street food"

2, Remember to change all USD for MXP at the local casa de empeno or cambios, as the USD is not longer accepted, for goods or services, anywhere in Mexico. by law, and order of the central bank.

Look out for the Pan American games 2011 this month held in Guadalajara Jalisco. Hope to see you all there.

Mexico is not only on our border but the violence has already started to affect our country. In the future mexico will be complete anarchy. This is very different from the wars in middle eastern countries because this actually directly affects our country. We have to deal with the problem before it gets any worse.

You CAN'T be serious. Why is it so hard for you to understand that this isn't just mexico's problem? It DIRECTLY affects us. The violence in mexico is already spilling over the border and will only get worse as time goes on. Or do you think we shouldn't do anything about U.S. citizens living on the border being killed?

Yes, I am serious.
We should secure the southern border.
No, the US Military, US LEO or the US Govt should not be doing anything in Mexico.
The Mexicans need to step up and take care of Mexico.

Thanks!!

What? Everything has been allowed to get to this point so that the US could operate in Mexico.

You want all that prep work to go to waste?

Yes.

Mexico is not the US.

Let them hash out their own issues.

You missed the point.

The US planned it this way. Why else would they leave the southern boarder open, train the Zetas, sell guns to the cartels and open an intelligence HQ in Mexcio City.

It's good for you but bad for us. I have no problem with legal Spanish speaking peoples but the problem I can't understand why some of your people come up here to take our jobs, use our welfare and take up space in our schools without speaking our language. I have nothing against you, it is just a fact. My neighbours are Mexican, they cannot speak a word of English but their kids can. Now rationalise that please.

I hear you.

And here in California, our newspapers continuously put out articles attempting to garner sympathy for the Latinos by portraying them as being the hardest group hit by this economic crisis. An article in my paper a few days ago was just like many others....entitled, "Latino kids the largest group of U.S. children living in poverty."

Mankind is the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

Wiki-page 4 Horsemen

Each of us represents that part of mankind. From the days of the Ancestors there were many expressions of the Red Horse here in the Americas!

The White Horse is the White nations and their expansions across everyone, conquering!

The Red Horse was the Red Nations warring from time beginning, rising then falling then rising again and again, slaughtering!

The Black Horse are the Black Nations who have endured the injustice, the unbalances that have begotten them. Scattered and stripped of culture and yet finding a way home to justice itself. The Scales have been so against this Nation, but there will be a Balance!

The Pale Horse are our pale cousins the Asians. Pestilence is disease and it is man-made. It is in the plastics in the air and in our food! It is radiation and it is technology without the regard for life. It is the sickening of the spirit by way of farming people! The Crops are failing!

We are the End! We all represent the End Times through our own turmoil that resides within!

This will all come to pass and a New Age of Man will arise, not a NWO! One is good and one is bad!

I Love Mexico and I adore the Mexican People and their culture but they too have to open to a brighter World, I think they are on better ground as a culture that can nurture! Mi Corazón!
